This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

Some dingrod from this number called me yesterday.  He said that UPS was going to send me a cashier's check.  I said that I didn't want the money.  He wanted to know why.  I said that I wasn't entitled to it.  "But the money is rightfully yours"

At that point I told him to go kill himself and I hung up.

Shayna there are located in Jamacia they are scam artist they will do no harm...Just glad you were smart enough not to fall for the scam..What person here in the US have not heard of UPS hell the better question is have they??..Just report the number to the FTC and contact your local news station so they can alert others n the area not to fall for the Jamaican lottery scam!!

I got a call from this number and they asked if i was familiar with the ups truck. They then told me that I was the recipient of 1.5 million dollars. I hung up, they called back and asked to "talk to your boyfriend''. i said "who is this???" They told me to 'F' off two or three times and to get the 'F' off the phone so they can "rape and kill" me. I have no idea how that would be classified... but it scared me.
