My dad received a call about three or four days ago. Talking about Obamas stimulus package that was a Mercedes Benz and 250,000 cash. I wish I could of stopped him and talked him out of it. Wat happens now?

This number just called us on the phone claiming we had won 25,000.00 and a brand new Mercedes. Right away we knew it was a scam the lady was talking to us about winning and wanted us to go to walmart and western union $75.00 to an Agnes Johnson. she then asked how soon we would be heading to the store to send the money.We asked her how she got our name and number and she claimed it had to do with President Obama and UPS. She then called ten mins later and wanted to know if we were on our way to walmarts western union. Knowing that it was a scam my husband told her NO and that we were not interested. She then started cusing at my husband and telling him she was going to cut his head off and kill his wife (me).

My mother recieved a call from this number just a fem  mins ago. They told her she had paid all her bills on time and was a loyal customer to her favorite stores. They also told her she had won 350,000 dollars and a 2009 C class mercedes. They were tryning to get personal info from her , that she did not have, such as bank card numbers. She gave the phone to my dad and he talked to the man. My dad was almost convinced  that he had to send them a money order for 250$ to claim his prize. At this time I took the phone from my dad and asked the man on the phone what was going on. He repeated the same stuff he had told my mother. and a bonus prize we were going to get  the mercedes. He then asked me what color I would like the car.  (my mother had already told them she wanted the red one). I politely told the man on the phone (who had a heavy arab accent) to please take us off their mailing list. The man became irrate and started treatening me saying "he was going to find me and clean me out" he also said that "he was going to rip my F###ING head off!" I hung up the phone and asked my parents what kind of information they had given him.  Luckily they had not given the man any important personal data. Other then their ages. My Parents are both elderly and it upsets me that they were almost talked into giving out personal information for a scam like this. I hope these people are caught before someone falls for this act!!!!!

This caller sounded about 10 and was EXTREMELY vulgar.  Talking about explicit sexual acts.  My local phone company, and cell phone company don't seem to want to do anything.
