I've also been receiving calls from HP Locate about someone with the same last name as ne. For those of you who want the calls to end, either email or write them indicating "do not call me pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This is supposed to work with the harassment.

They just called me on my mobile phone, the woman told me that they must have called me by mistake...however, I did a Google search while I was on the phone with her and saw that they are a debt collector so I asked her if they were...she lied and said no we are not a debt collector.   I do not owe anyone any money but getting a call from the devils headquarters still makes me mad as hell!

i just recieved a call from someone claiming to be a private investigater from hp locate . the guy left me a message claiming that my phone number is correctly or incorrectly connected to a case that he's working on , and in order to stop this calling i need to press  the number 1 now.  sounds like a scam to me the funny thing about it is ; is that i live in michigan and have no idea why this idiot would be calling me.  i do not have any outstanding debts whatsoever . the number they called me from is 817-572-1917 i even have very good credit , i have a home loan approved for $160,000.00

I keep getting calls from this number repeatedly.

I received a call thursday asking me to contact my neighbor and have them to call their number.  I didn't even write their number down.

They have called me 26 times in 2 hrs stating that they had important information to tell me. My wife called them back and they said that my number was referred to them by a company trying to collect a debt from her sister named Sanya. Her sister Sanya died of SIDS in 1990 at the age of 5 months.

HP Debt Exchange (www.hpdebtexchange.com) is behind the HP Locate calls.  I would encourage everyone who is getting these harassing HP Locate calls to call HP Debt Exchange at (972) 996-5100 and give them a piece of your mind.  I call them up and call them every name in the book until they hang up on me!  And I call them 10 times for every 1 time that they call me or any of my friends or relatives.

Got A call from HP Locate but caller id says it is a company called Portfolio Recovery.  They are trying to collect a debt that is over 10 years old.

got text from this number and calls from 505-217-0125 and 469-341-0107 trying to get in touch with me about an important message. This is not a reputable company. have nothing to do with them.

I got a call from this number at 7:25 this morning. The woman speaking mumbled and spoke rapidly, with background noise and a beep in the middle of the message so that I couldn't make out a name, even after listening several times to the message, and I could make out only the word "Locator" and then "referencing your neighbor, Jennifer -couldn't make out a last name- and the phone number to call back. I thought the whole thing seemed fishy, so checked here and sure enough, found out it was. The number on my caller ID was different  505-217-8125 which comes up as an Albuquerque wireless. I tried calling it and got a message that the number wasn't working, that was repeated in Spanish, followed by "Message Number 3 AB02GN" and then a busy signal. Will maybe call the 877 number and play along and see what happens.

I received a call from a man who identified himself as Jamie Diaz from HP Locator at 877-225-1102.  He wanted me to have ---------(former neighbor) call him regarding urgent personal information.

I received several phone calls from this collection agency asking me to relay a message to a neighbor that I didn't even know.  The messages from them stated that they wanted me to relay a message to a particular person and have them call the number. When I actually spoke to a representative, the person told me that my name was referred to them and that I was a friend of the person they were trying to reach.   Wrong. I consider this is a form of harassment.  I told them that I didn't know the person they were seeking to contact and to stop calling me.

I started to randomly get calls from 877-225-1102 and they kept saying the have "important and urgent information" to tell me. They kepts calling and calling sometimes even 2-3 times in a row! One voice mail message someone there left said they had urgent information to tell me about my mother! HAHAHA. Here is the..... Sad thing about that. My mother passed away 5 years ago so if they have urgent info for me telling me that it was a huge prank and that really wasnt her in the open coffin....
I called them back and they are a debt collection agency. I told them where they could find her and she is looking for to meeting them! That use tactics that violate the FDCPA. If you dont know what that is, google it. If they violate that bad enough, you could probably sue them. I know there are A LOT of law firms that Love sueing collection companies because its easy.The collection companies are always a fault. Just make sure you keep all letter, voice mails, text, ect.. that the collection company(s) send you.

unbelieveable.  they called looking for my neighbor too.  they want me to get an urgent message to him, of course it is personal so they can't tell me what it is about.

This company is calling me and asking me to tell my neighbor to call them.  Isn't this illegal for debt collection agencies?  If it isn't it should be.

They constantly called and text me, the company name is called HP locate!! No idea what is this business but check it before you answer!!!

They are Butt Pirates! Don't let them near you!
