I dont recall getting a phone call from them, but they billed my credit card for $11 without my permission.  I reported the charge to my credit card company and they reimbursed me, and said they would investigate.  I also reported it to the FBI, internet crimes division.

Ditto to all of the above.....including this happening to a less active account that I was planning to close.  I reported this as an unauthorized transaction to my bank (Wells Fargo).  They insisted in reporting my debit card as stolen (which it wasn't) and reissue another card.  I don't know if there wasn't some security breach on the bank's side that resulted in this.

Received a charge of $11.00 on my MC which stated "MSOFT HOST FEE 8772384120 FL".  DISPUTE THIS CHARGE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY.  I just did because I have no idea what or who this is for.

This phone number is associated with an $11.00 for MSOFT HOST FEE on a credit card I am trying to close.  I can't recall doing anything to incur this charge so I called the number.  It is an automated message (duh) that never mentions a company name. There is an option for if you have an unrecognized charge.  You are asked to leave a message with the last 6 digits of your credit card number.

I have disputed this charge with my credit card company and have alerted them to this number.

Same thing happened to us. Charged us $12.00 on a credit card. We have called our credit card company and cancelled the card and are getting a new one issued to us.

I had a charge much the same as you all have had.  I also had to cancel my card and file a dispute.  This was very inconvenient since I use my card for many things.

Once again I have to go through the motions of canceling a fee incurred on our company credit card without authorization.  HOW DO THEY DO IT?  I can't seem to get my home phone bill information without giving up my first born son, yet they seem to be able to get into systems and charge these fees...this time $11.00 for MSOFT host fee.  I also had no phone call prior to the charge.  I called the number late last night, about 11:00 and did have the option to give the last 5 digits of the card # (I know they have the entire # or I wouldn't have even entered that) and there was a recording that said on 2-6-11 the transaction went through for $11.00, and on 3-6-11 (yesterday's date) the card was refunded the $11.00.  I figured I would call the credit card company to make sure of that once I checked out this scam online.

I too have incurred a charge for $11.00 from Msoft host fee.  Bank of America says the company placing the charge had all information on my debit card, including my security code, as well as my address.  I quickly had the debit card cancelled.  I have no recollection of doing business with anyone from an Msoft company.  The automated number asssociated with this charge asked me to leave a voicemail with the last 6 numbers of my debit card.  There was no option to speak with a live person.  This transaction was clearly a fraud.

I didn't get a call but got an $11 charge as MSoft Host Fee on my credit card with this as the reference phone #.  I disputed the charge with Bank of America and requested a new credit card, so all will be fine in the end, but it's pretty pathetic that the credit card company doesn't care about this fraud--they won't investigate the fraudulent aspect of this activity, so this illegit company will keep on doing what they're doing and costing everyone's time and stealing money from people who don't check their statements closely. I wish I knew how they got my credit card number.

I got an $11 charge on my credit card from MSOFT Host Fee. I have absolutely no clue how they could have access to my card. I'm currently in the process of disputing it with my bank.

Just got off the phone with my credit card company and have disputed the $13 MSOFT Host Fee charged to my account.  I was surprised to learn that the credit card company does not file any complaints about these fees, even though they are fraudulent, and just writes them off if they don't get reimbursed from the "company" who charges these fees.  Now we know why our interest rates are out of sight.

Be careful because it seems like this is a classic fraud! They took $13 from my account for utilities I never had. So I call this number to check and the machine (without any info about the company or bills!) asked for the last six digits of my card # in case that I've notice that money was taken from my account.
Unfortunately I wasn't cautious enough and I left the card numbers, so the machine said smth like - we took from your account $13 on _ date and we will refund it to you on _ date..  - Just like that, WITHOUT ANY FURTHER EXPLANATION!
Even though they might refund the money, I shouldn't say anything about the card # because this way I probably just confirmed my self info and that their fraud was successful - so next time they can take even more money from my account!
The biggest disappointment for me was when I found out from the bank that anyone who has ONLY my card # (the bank is obviously not secure enough!) can take money just like that from my account and that for such small amount like $13 (which tomorrow can be worst) they will not even check the "company" (which took probably so much money from people randomly trying various card numbers).
They said there are millions of frauds like this every day!
