I received a call from them telling me that I would be arrested for check fraud from a pay day loan I didn't even take out. This guy kept telling me that they were headed to my place of work right then, but they didn't even have my current employment. Is this a fraud?

Irate black man spouting off some criminal charges (Something about defrauding a banking institution and writing bad checks) against someone that doesn't live at this number. Guy said his name was John Murphy

IT'S A SCAM!!!!! I CALLED THE NUMBER AND ASKED FOR THE REPRESENTATIVES NAME AND THEY YELLED, SCREAMED, GOT IRATE, HUNG UP ON MY BUT WOULDN'T EVEN PROVIDE A COMPANY NAME MUCH LESS THEIR OWN NAMES. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

I just received a call from someone at this number stating that there was a report of a bad check. I have no history of bounced checks or other issues and ended up contacting the county instead to try and validate his claim.
