I get a call from this number about every day.  When I answer, no one response.  I then hear the click of them disconnecting from their end.  This is very annoying.  I know it's a collection agency.  The current activity is illegal considering they are making harassing hang-up call to me, not informing me that I owe a debt to anyone, and not giving me the opportunity to depute that debt and request in writing that they no longer call me by phone.  What do I do about this?

Caller ID listed it as: UNAVAILABLE

I answered, saying "Hello" but there was just silence on the phone.  I repeated two more times, no response, so I hung up.

It's a collection agency. They say their name so fast I could barely understand it. It wasn't for me anyway :P.

I called the number back since they have called me numberous times without leaving a message.  It was a collection agency for a friend. I don't know why they had my number. I asked them to remove it.
