Yeah it's actually a toll free number for a fraud unit.  The guy I talked to actually helped me resolve an identity theft when someone got ahold of my SS# and tried to buy a car.

My mother in law recieved a call from this number saying he was an investigator. Wouldnt say from where. I called it back, and it said it was the investigations dept. But no one answered.
