I pay for an unlisted number to keep this kind of annoyance down and I am also on the Do Not Call Registry lists for the same reason...I don't like being interrupted in eating dinner or whatever I am doing to answer this kind of computer generated call.

I kept getting a call from this number with the same recorded message about sex offenders in my area.  I am on the Do Not Call list.  When I called them back I got a very rude person on the line that would not listen to me when I told her to take my number off their list.  Eventually she hung up on me so I called back again and asked to speak to a manager, she hung up again.  Being the biotch that I am...I called the number back and when they answered I hung up on them, then kept hitting redial and hanging up on them for at least a good fifteen minutes or so.  After I got my point across, I gave them my number to be put on their list not to call me.  That lasted about three weeks, I got another call again.  However, this time they didn't leave a recorded message.  The message was, and I quote word for word "Yeah...okay (pause) yes (like she was talking to someone else) oh what the hell" and hung up.  Needless to say I sit here today reading about all the reports from this number.  I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one they are rude to and continue to harrass.  I have reported them on the national Do Not Call list, like many others...How can we stop them???

They called about morals and values.  when i called back they were rude, and didnt care that i wanted them to stop calling.  They even went as far as to call me a b***h for complaining about their calls.

these people wont stop calling and i can never get past the recorded voice.

i have called them back multiple times and asked them to put me on their do-not-call list. i have reported them 3 times to the federal list, and they just called me again today. it's a pre-recorded message but if you call it back you can sometimes get a person. this time i got an answering service and told them i'll be contacting my lawyer.

they called my friend tonite and said that or local cable co. was charging surcharges to the bills to promote child porn. asked her to switch to their program and not pay any more surcharges. they took all her info. that she gave them hard to believe i know. so thats why iam checking this out.

You guys think you get it bad because they call you every once in a while, well I work for a company with a very similar phone number "CompleWare Corporation." Needless to say these jack***es that go around calling and harassing everyone even tend to give out the wrong number on peoples voice mails for return calls. I've been dealing with angry people calling me saying to take them off our call list for over a year. Some get it through their skulls they have a wrong number or were given the wrong number. If you dial and get one of us, settle down and don't act like a fool, listen to what we have to say about you dialing the wrong number.... Just remember it maybe annoying for you, just think of dealing with at least 5 pissed off yous, in a day when I didn't do anything; you dialed the wrong number.

as Caz mentioned above, they are NOT directly affiliated with any group against child pornography and are using fear tactics to sell their phone and internet services. Do NOT be taken in by them, and if you wish to stop something, support the proper non-profit group-United American Technologies cannot be counted as such.

Called them back, threatened to call authorities as these calls constitute Harassment.  I believe my number has now been removed. We do have a man on the sex offender list living with us, so the situation may be different for you

A recording came on with a lady's voice stating that she was calling regarding the "campaign for national moral" asking if you would like to know of any sex offenders in your area and would like to know how they look and to press one to be connected. I did just that to find out what this was all about. I have small children, so naturally, I reacted to the message. A man came on the line and stated wanted to know my name, which I told him my first name and then he proceeded to ask for my last name. When I asked why he needed to know my last name, he hung up. I think this is a scam and I really wanted to tell him to stop calling here, but he hung up. I called back and couldn't get through.

I see that most of their contact links are dead with the exception of their donation link. They mentioned sending a petition against child porn and were looking for signatures of all adults in the household. That would help any identity thief (i.e. your number, your name, your address, your signature) Sounds like a scam to me. They also told me of all the corporate child porn sponsors that are charging us to allow child porn sites operate on our dollar.

A tollfree number on my caller ID. I did not answer my telephone. I left the answer machine play on as a recorded call. It was a woman talking about child pornagraphy and urge me to dial 2. This is a telemarker reporting a scam.

Called home number on 3/26/08 at 2:34 p.m. Left no voice message.

They call me every couple days. It's a recording that starts "please do not hang up" then its about restoring moral values (usually sometimes it varies). Today I pushed one to hear a list of sex offenders with photos (would be interesting how they will show the photos over the phone) I was on hold to Enya music, then someone picked up and said sorry for holding, the line went quiet I said you called me, and then he hung up on me.

They need to stop. I filed a complaint with the do not call registry, but what they really need is a revocation of whatever "non-for-profit-religious or political" status they have that allows them to make the calls to people on the do not call list.

Caller id says "Unknown Name 877-266-6277" Woman's recorded voice (no accent):  "Do not hang up."  Content lists statistics of violent sex crimes against children.  It seemed to be offering a service to identify pedophiles in the area.  When calling back to be taken off phone list, a woman with a southern accent insinuated that I was upset about such a call because I had been abused.  After I spoke loudly over her and my call to them ended, she called me back (so much for the Do Not Call List when she had apparently took down my phone numbers so she could call me again) and taunted me when I was speaking quietly to get the company's name and address.  Name provided:  "United American Technology".  She accused me of being a child abuser (!) and wanting to aid people who hurt children.  She did not provide the address.  In checking the web later (NOTE:  the reason I got angry in the first place was this was taking me out of what I need to be doing...so who wins?), I found this from another website http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-877-266-6277:
