I also recently opened a Lowe's credit card and they left me a message stating the same thing. Once the automated system verified my phone number and name they thanked me for opening the account and the recent promotional purchase.

I recently opened a Lowe's credit card.  I got a call from this number & they left a message saying that I had suspicious charges to my account.  I called & it was GE Capital who issues the Lowe's credit card.  They said they just wanted to verify I did open an account.  I told them I did not appreciate them saying I had suspicious charges on my account when it was not true.
