Please have thdm stop calling me

A man who identified himself left a message for a woman on my cell phone.  I called back, was put on hold and consequently rang off.  Later I called again from my land line and a pleasant woman picked up on the first ring who cross-checked my number against their "client" list.  She repeated the name of the intended woman and then said that she had deleted my number from the client's name.  She thanked me for my time.

Call everyday. They are worthless. Another bottom feeder.

The company for this phone 877-277-8388 is Van -Ru Credit Corp. they are a Crap buyers of  Old Debt. They aren't the original Owner of debt. they are very Stupid or Pretend to be, I explained them  fair debt collection laws, They Say I just have some questions.HELLO!!!!!!!!!!! fair debt collection laws!!!!!! YOU CAN NOT DO debt harassment. I research activities on them they are building a Directory or (Black List) about people with Bad Credit or Pass due Bills. Take time and learn about your right. Yes i have pass due bills for lack of job not because I saving money for trip to Bahamas

it's a debt collector for a mortgage company, They call my house for my ex, and his new home... he left 12 yrs ago and I have had my number changed 5 times  and unlisted, because some how his debt collectors keep calling me. It's annoying.

These idiots keep robocalling my phone number.  Answered one time...spoke with Robin, and told her
no such person lives here and she should take me off her list.  20 robocalls later, here we are.
What good is it to report these calls if nothing is done about it? Where is my right to privacy?
More importantly... what can you do to prevent these calls... or am I just spinning my wheels?

Apparently I called this number in error (transposed a number somewhere) when I was calling back a lady who left a message on my phone wanting me to call her at work and give her info about the guy who DJ'd my wedding.  Jeez....these people were RUDE!  I called (not knowing I had the wrong number) and asked for "Pam".  The first woman who answered said, "Who?"  I said, "Pam Smith?"  She said, "Oh!  Hold on." She actually transferred my call to another woman who pretended she was going to contact me with Pam Smith!!!  She said she needed my name and repeatedly asked me to spell it, before she could put me through.  Me, not knowing I had the wrong #, gave it to her.  Then she wanted my phone number.  Her voice was so short and rude that I started getting suspicious.  Finally, she asked so many personal questions and was so "angry" sounding that I caught on to the fact that I had the wrong # and said, "Is there even a Pam Smith there?".  She started stammering and admitted there was no Pam there and said that if I was calling then I must owe a debt.  Then she asked me if I was really "Kevin".  I'm female, my voice is plainly feminine, and I don't know any Kevin.  WTF???  What a disorganized mess of a company. I was highly irritated at them wasting my time by pretending Pam was there, and hung up on her.

Same type of complaint with this number. A recorded voice calls and leaves a message for someone who I don't know asking to press 1 if you are this person. I keep hanging up but they keep calling. Filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry and suggest others do as well.

877-277-8388 is the Van Ru Credit Corporation phone phishing for bad debtors that have your last name. Report them if you are on the Do Not Call registry, you're not the debtor and you have never done business with them.

This robo call cliams to be from Ben Ru  collection agency. I can find no such agency . Leaves message
on ansewering machine. I don't intend to talk to them. This is likely a scam.

They called and left me a message stating that they were calling about a debt collection matter.  I called them back and the lady asked me for the phone number I got the message on (which I gave) and my name (I only gave my first name - no objections).  She asked me if I know a Joseph Quam and I said no.  She asked if I had recently gotten this phone number and I said no.  She said she didn't know why my phone number was associated with Joseph Quam, apologized, and said she would remove my number from their system.

They call and if I answer, they say may name over and over and over again.  I called back when they said there was debt collection, and they asked personal information to "verify my identity".  I said, "YOU called ME, if you know who I am, you tell me now."  Said I was from South Carolina.  Wrong.  But they continue to call, over and over and over again.....

They have been calling for months..same message as others have indicated

Caller from 877-277-8388 asked for my name and address then asked the last 4 digits of SS. Said had to verify information. When asked why he said would tell me after I tell him my SS. I told him I would not tell any information unless he tells me first why he was calling. He insisted would tell me after I give my SS for verification and that he was calling me on important business matters. I hang up the phone.

BEWARE - FAKE DEPT COLLECTION FRAUD CALLERS! * NEVER GIVE ANYONE YOUR INFO BY PHONE, NOT YOUR NAME, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, ADDRESS, ETC! If they lie and say -'well, we just need to confirm that you're the person we're trying to reach for this personal/business/financial/etc matter TELL THEM TO GO TO HELL, THAT YOU'RE NOT GIVING THEM YOUR INFO OR FALLING FOR THEIR SCAM. Sometimes they will find some info through facebook or other online social sites that has your phone number listed, then they call with that minimal info and SCAM people into giving the rest of their info. Then, THEY COMMIT FRAUD USING YOUR INFO.

I've received 4 calls from this place .  Thre message just kept repeating my name three times.  The recording must hve been broken.  The last call said that I owed a debt which is not true.

They left me a message about a debt company to settle the debt.  When I called back there was a recording to leave my info.  I check my credit report regulerly and get monthly messages.  I do not have outstanding debt.  Is there any way we can stop these calls or report to someone.

They said I owed a debt ( which i don't) and when I called them back I got a recording to leave my social security number and or my account number!  Do people really fall for this crap?  I told them it would be a cold day in hell when I gave that info to them and if they want to call and discuss to feel free.  No call back yet.

Keep getting calls from this 1-877-227-8388 asking for Bobby,I told them six months ago I have had this number for 7 yrs now..but for some reason they keep calling and i keep harrasing them..

Same messages again. When I called them back I was put on hold. Really? I dont have time for these people. I did not get any debt collection letters in the mail, because I have no outstanding debt! I get my free credit reports each year and I know exactly what is going on. So trying to solve old debts where they dont exist is trying to fool the citizens. I should report this company and have them stop such requests! Please dont waste mine (or anyone's) time.

Just got a phone call with a voice message this morning asking me to call back to discuss an important debt collection. Really? Be careful!
