I have been scammed. Is there any way to get my money back. The number has been disconnected, so you can't even track them any more. I was just looking for work out of our small local newspaper, so much for trying to make some extra money.

this company appears to be a scam. they operate as a company (phds) who charges you $279 + tax and shipping on your credit card and then sends you a package of computer software in 3 weeks so you can do medical billing of insurance companies from home. they are sometimes rude on the phone and the info they send is VERY vague. the phone numbers on the papers they sent were all whited-out and new numbers written over. the new number returned no results when i searched it. i found out that they are a scam when i scratched the white-out off the papers they sent and saw the old phone number. i found lots of stories from scammed folks by checking the old phone number.  beware!
