This is TD Canada Trust.  Call the number and leave a message.  Ask to be removed from their call list.

They've called our house 5-6 times a day for the last few weeks and never leave a message??

I hate to say it, but the registry is not going to make the calls stop. The calls go out to those who have an existing business relationship with the bank, whether it is a bank account, car loan, mortgage, credit card etc. Unfortunately there are several exemptions to the registry, one being the existence of a business relationship with a consumer. So if you have any business with TD the calls will continue.

I keep getting calls from these s****d people several times per day. I don't even have an account with TD!!! Thank Goodness the Gov't has finaly come out with the "DO NOT CALL REG."!!!

Finally I answered the call and said wrong number. The calls have stopped!

Today has been my worst experience with this number. I'm approaching 30 calls since around 10am this morning. It's 6:30pm now and I just got 3 in the last 5 minutes. I'll try that Ombudsman Office tomorrow.

Finally found a solution that worked with this nasty misuse of computer technology.

I left a message and they responded the next day. Within 36 hours of my pleasant conversation with a staff member the calls from 877-285-6267 stopped. It has now been 3 days and no more calls.

Like all of you, I'm frustrated with those 877-285-6267 calls.  Since they're made by telemarketeres to sell TD banking services, maybe we should get in touch with Nicholas Petter, Manager, Corporate Communications, TD Bank at his email address- td.capa@td.com - or, better still, CALL HIM at (416)944-7161 and let him know how these nuisance calls only serve to turn us off any new or continued association with TD.

Wow, I just googled the number and f***. I am so pissed. They have been calling for the last 2 weeks every day, 5 times a day.

I've tried telling them to f*** off, remove my number. Never works. And most of the time, they do not say anything when you say hello.

I hate TD because of this. It's a good thing they have a better online banking system. If another banking company had one better, I would switch.

This number has been calling 2 to 3 times a day for months. Today from that number as well as 1 800 831 9690.  Both are canada trust.

I add them in my cellphone contacts, put them in a group I call "spam" and set the custom ringer for that group to silent.  I never get alerted to their call.  It works as long as they keep using the same number to call from.

I have received about 7 calls a day from these fu*kers at TD Bank for the last 3 business days! They just don't give up. STAY AWAY FROM THE TD BANK OTHERWISE YOU'LL BE HARRASSED!!!!!

Yeah, they've been calling me twice a day, same story. They must be subcontracting whatever they are selling to a private company who are extremely obnoxious. This must be a breach in the contract giving out private info...

I basically TD canada trust stupid  telemarketers . God they are soo annoying.

I got 85 calls from 14:59 jan29-2008 to 18:20 jan29-2008. Yes! 877-285-6267 called me 85 times within 2 hours 20 minutes. It's very very annoying. Luckily i wasn't at home at that time, but i alway monitor every single calls in and out of my home phone. That's how i could get 85 calls in 2 hours.

They have been calling me for the last four months about five or six times a day and they never leave a message.  Asking to get off the calling list is a waste of time.  I already asked and I am still on the list.  I now just ignore them and hope they will eventually tire out.

This is TD trust.  They hang up when I answer. I've threatened to change banks if this continues.  I suggest that everyone do the same.  With all the billions of dollars that they make, I'm sure that they can find a better way to spend their money.

I agree - I pay for each call - my cell is forwarded to Shanghai. This is getting ridiculous.

They called me from this number today, but I was busy, and no message left. I'm glad that I missed it.

They are so annoying. Call me at least 3 times everyday and never leave a message. I request to opt out for a few times, but they promise every time but still do it.

On my 4th call today, I picked up the phone and yelled, DON"T CALL here again!

I may have scared some poor soul! But it's crazy.

Called me 3 times today and almost every freaking days for the past couple of weeks!!!! I've told them NOT to call me again last year, worked for almost a year till couple weeks ago. AND I've registered my number in the Canadian NO Call list on Sept 30th, and if they keep calling after Oct 30th, I'm gonna to file a complaint. Arrrrrrrrrrggggggggg!!!

Got a few calls at my home in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.  At this point I simply ignore all incoming calls with toll-free numbers on Call Display.

I got this call today.  I don't answer any type of "8--" numbers but I was wondering who it was exactly.  Makes sense if it is TD.  They keep calling my mom's house for me which is about 400 km from me but I guess they still have that number on file somewhere.

Is there some centralized data base for call centres? Because in the last two days I've been getting several calls from 800 numbers out of the blue.  It doesn't matter if it's 9 am or 9 pm.  I'm wondering who sold my info because it's my cell phone and only very select few people have this number!

It's the law?  Well they aren't abiding by it, I can tell you that!  A month went by, and *ring ring*  GUESS WHOOOO

Blasting a bull horn in somebody's ear is dumb. A lot of these people do the work because they have to. Why would you want to damage another human being? Just tell them to remove you from the calling list. It's a law. They have to.

Want to sell credit cards. Keep calling, every day. Some times 10 times a day.
