Called 90 times on my cell and then on my work. Reached me at work. Said his name was Alan Burk.. Sound like Alland Boork.. (insert a few choice explict eastern indian racist names here) Said he wanted my attorny info, and that my SS and name were being brought up on fraud in California.. repeated several times that he was calling from Attornys office in California.. I think he was trying to convince himself he was in California. He couldn't tell me who was charging and sueing me for fraud, it went from one to several of them charging me with it, then he put me on hold and had his "supervisor" get on the line, Damn they sure sounded just alike.. his name was Johnny Watkins.  and I had best have my attorny called his boss.. Attorny Daxter Grooves probably trying to say Dexter.. and they were again... in California.. Again.. they are in California. Guess they are playing pretend together. Gave me his number.. I repeated it to him for kicks n giggles.. and hung up..  then checked my cell phone messages and he told me that if I did not call him back all he could do is wish me good luck, and hoped I liked prision.. Flippin Sand Roamin Jack Wagon.. LoL!!!

These people called my job all this week and left messages.  When I finally called them back to ask who they were the hung up on me. Every time I called back they hung up again. I tried calling from another number and they just kept hanging up. My boss called from the office and they hung up on him to.  Dont let these people scam u out of money u don't owe. Put the word out add the number to ur Facebook twitter and MySpace so the world will no.

I had two offices call me, Adam Spencer (RAGHEAD) 760 695 4139, and a presumable lawyer named chris @#4%^&*00.  I could'nt make it out from 916 432 3761  Same story , criminal lawsuits and the whole 10 yards.  When he said he has the paperwork in front of him, I asked to fax it ,and then he hung up! The other RAGHEAD said the same lawsuit from Advanced Payday Loans, and I never had this loan or any other, when I asked him for info. they hung up!  Anyone wants to contact me with Questions or a solution...wkira1@bbtel.com.....Good Luck

Got the same # call me today at 12:40 P.M. saying i owe 300.00 dollars for a payday loan i ask him send me the paper work and he said he could not at the moment so i hung up the phone an i call back they did not answer call back two more times they pick up i said who is this they said my daddy then hung up .

Got the same call to my work number. He said I'm calling from a garbled law firm and then says a suit is against me. Then he has the nerve to say "God Bless".  When I called back a woman (that I couldnt understand) answered and hung up immediately.

Got the same call.  Told him I was friends with the Sheriff and the Clerk of Court and that I wanted to check with them to see if there really was a warrant.  They hung up.

Got the same call this afternoon. Lowlife scammer. Not much you can do because I'm sure it's being run from out of the country, but it's infuriating.

Got the same message as Jeff Breinholt above.  Call came this morning and the person threatened to come to my house.  This person needs to be stopped immediately.

It is someone from out of the country and he sounds like he is reading from a script and can barely read the words in understandable English.  Says his name is Jeff White calling from a garbled law firm and then says a suit is against my name, my SS#, my license etc etc. and to call him back.  ITS A SCAM!  Then he has the nerve to say "God Bless".  When will they stop?

These guys called and said the same thing and said they would call my work and I told them to go ahead if they wanted money out of me then I wanted a bill validation mailed to my physical address and also if they keep calling notify the FBI and local law enforcement they will call on multi numbers it is a scam and if the say they will have u picked up at your work tell them bs because payday loans are a civil matter not criminal

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUM AND THEY WAS SAYING THAT I HAD CHARGES PRESSED AGAINST ME FOR NOT PAYING ON A PAYDAY LOAN AND HIS NAME WAS DANIEL. I COULD BARELY UNDERSTAND ANYTHING HE WAS SAYING AND THEY WAS ALSO TELLING ME GOOD LUCK ON GOING TO COURT AND THEY HOPE I GOT A LAWYER. IT SCARED ME AT FIRST BUT I CALLED THE BBB AND THEY GAVE ME A NUM TO GO AND FILE A COMPLAINT.

I too got this call that said they were with a law office that I really couldn't understand the name of I think it was "Johnny Bell" the caller said he was Tom Scott and that there was a lawsuit against me. But, he never gave the name of the person he was trying to contact. He also said that I needed to call him back or have my attorney on file return his call. Most of what he said was very hard to understand as he had a very thick accent not American.  He told me that if I didn't call it would go hard on me and all he could say "Was God bless" I didn't return the call and don't plan on returning the call.  I do beleive it is a scam. I do know that all you have to do is ask for proof of debt and they won't send you anything. There are a lot of scammers out there.

Today, 3/18/2013 I recieved a call from 760-695-4139 this phone number at 2:48 pm to my cell phone. This call I did not answer as I can't answer my cell phone while at work. Then at about 3:00 pm, I get a call from this same number to my work phone. I was very busy and couldnt take the call, plus the call sounded fisshy to me. The guy calling me asked me if I had an attorney, to which I said no. He replied that I was being sued by "Someone" and he could get me connected with their attorney there. To my knowledge I have nothing going on that would cause a law suit against me. Besides if I was being sued, I think I would know about it since the Sherriffs Dept or a Constable would have delivered papers to me substatiating a law suit. I believe there are time limits on delivering legal papers. I was busy working so I hung up on him. I went about my duties and he called back and got my co worker. He immediatly started chewing her out asking why she had hung up on him when I was the one who hung up on him. This mans name is Eric Brown, Supposedly, I attempted to call the number back on my cell phone three time and was hung up on. I call two other time a clearly got a voice mail system with no recorded message, Suspisious. This place doesnt act like a legit business and I think they were trying scare tactics to try to get money out of me. They need to be shut down as a legit operation would identify itself on the call to a person or if the person was calling them back. This thay do not do.

I also received this call. Same message as most on here. Due to the drastic message he left I thought it was BS. Then my work called me and said that an Officer by the name of Jean Walton called and asked for me, she continued to try and take a message for me and they would not tell her which county they were calling from just that I needed to contact them at that same number, She as well thought it sounded like a scam, due to the heavy Indian accent., Scary part is these people have our SSN and all our information. People this is a lesson learned, do not order or do anything online that needs any of your personal information, Now, we all need to call, Credit Bureaus. They even said they had my CDL, so I think I should contact my local sheriffs department, just so they have it on file that my information could be being used. Good Luck Everyone!!!

This number called me saying his name was Eric Johnson, say it was regarding legal litigation against my social security number and they would not be held responsible for job loss if they had to contact my employer!!! He also said he would contact any references? I would like to pay them back if I really owe them anything but a business name was never given. How weird!!!!

Won't do no good.   They can do anything about all the scams coming out of south asia.  This one usually comes from  the little people at the Bollywood Bordello Boiler room in Mumbai...

just rec'd a call from this really nasty Indian man stating  there was a lawsuit against me and I needed to have my lawyer call him. when I asked for the firms name he became very nasty abd was swearing at me and calling me horrible names. I will be notifying the states atty office. This is a scam!!!!

Got this phone call 3 times this morning. I have been getting a lot of calls like this here lately I was looking into getting a loan locally. But the call came in I answered it and he didn't say my name right and was kind of rude. Told me there was a lawsuit against me and a complaint against my social security number. Kept demanding my lawyer's info. He called back again and he was irrate with me and started yelling. I hung up. The 3rd time i never answered he left me a voicemail. Telling me that it was in my best interest to call him back and if i didn't retain a lawyer all he could do was wish me good luck.

I recieved the same call from some Indian guy he asked me if I had a lawyer and he also had my SS#  and wanted me to verify it.  I said no I am not giving any info over the phone and if he had any thing against me to send it via U.S. mail that way if it is a fraudulent claim that is a felony MAIL FRAUD which carries a 5 year prison sentance then he claimed that the police were on there way to my home to arrest me.  That is impossible to be arrested on any civil case true or not.  Do not even give it a secund thought it is just a scam.

All I can say I received one just about fifteen minutes ago. I know this is a scam because this is the second time this situation has happened to me. I have made sure all three credit agencies have an alert put on my report and have my social security number being watched. I have also gotten the local authorities involved and the better business bureau. These characters are just looking for a quick buck. They almost got money out of me but I ended up looking them up on google and then started to take the necessary precautions. They called me on my cell, home and work number. I had to change my work number, home number and cell. Now they have my new cell phone number. This time I told them I knew all about them and that the call was being recorded and they hung very fast. They are calling from another county into the USA and then making it look like they are real. They need to try something new because it is getting old. It is scary when they have all your information though.

WOW!!  I am glad there are some people like all of you guys who posted on here.  I guess I was smart enough to do what all you guys did on here to find these postings.  I just got my call 20 minutes ago and am furious now after reading I am not the only person who has had this happen to me.  Some hindu indian guy, and honestly swear to my heart and god not being racist. but I couldnt understand a word he said and luckily found a way to understand the number.  Some how some way we here have applied for something online and our SS# is being scattered. We must all recheck any credit checks, anything these people can use on us cause let's honestly say everyone here that has posted is already a victim. We all got a call from a guy who knows our social security number.  That is scary!!  I want to thank you guys for the info, had me all built up to blow up a counrty!!

I got a call from someone with a foreign accent, not Swedish although he said his name was Eric Johnson.  He also gave me the story of a lawsuit filed against me and wanted to know the name of my lawyer.  I told him I have lots of lawyers and to have me served and I would determine which one to use.  I asked where he was calling from and he said L.A.  My trace showed the number in Fallbrook, CA, San Diego County.  I hung up on him and he called back twice.  The third time I let my voice mail take it and his message was the usual nonsense.  I don't know his game but he doesn't know much about civil legal procedures.

Got the same call from this #.  Threatened me that a sheriff will show up @ my residence and arrest me w/ a potential of 6 mths. in jail.  Couldn't even understand him!  Foreign with marbles in his mouth. HANG UP

I just called him back and told him cursed him out and told him I was calling the cops for telephone harassment was against the law (and that his number was all over the internet and people were catching on to his game)  He was not an American, he sounded to be Indiana.  I hung up and called Verizon to have his number blocked, what an IDIOT!!! I hope no one falls for this scam.
