I have been receiving the same phone calls from cash today unlimited.  I took out a loan with them in 2005 for 200.00.  I ended up filing bankruptcy and closed my checking account.  Ever since then I have been getting phone calls at work numerous times a day, threatening to keep calling me until I get fired (that will ensure they get their money).  I have also asked them numerous times not to contact me at work according to the "Fair Debt Collector's Act", they disregard that.  I have also asked them to mail me exactly what I owe them, they say they can not it was all done electronically.  Before my checking account was closed, two payments had been made to them, they do not even acknowledge them, they keep telling me that if I agree to pay them 600.00 in a money gram that my account will be closed and if I can not do that then the amount I owe them could go as high as $6,000.  I have filed complaints with the FTC several times, the local division of consumer affairs in NJ.

In the numerous phone calls I have received from them, they have threatened to contact my parents, they have also tried to get me to give them family members bank information so they can deduct the amount I owe from that, they have also threatened to keep contacting me at work.  I get the name and tel number they are calling from, ask them again to send me something in writing stating how much I owe, when they start yelling and threatening me I hang up on them.  I am not paying them anything until they send it in writing.

I am trying to find an attorney who will sue them for harassment and anything else they can toss in, if anyone knows of an attorney willing to shut them down, let me know.

A VERY foreign sounding gentleman left a message with his name as Jack Davis? LOL! And claimed I owed money and that his legal department (Legal Dept of Cash Unlimited) was about to contact my payroll company if I did not call back.

It's hard to believe that people have nothing better to do than this. Thankfully I know I owe nothing to nobody so I am not really worried about this.

This foreign sounding male keeps calling me at work.  He says the same thin, that i owe cash today 1000.  Also, he can only collect this money through a checking account.  It actually worried me, because I thought I was really being sued.  I typed their number in mt browser and found this place.  Now I wonder what is really going on.

This person with an accent keeps calling my place of work harrassing me and my co-workers saying that he's from cash today and that I owe 4,000.  I have no idea what he was talking about so I asked if he could send me information regarding this matter and he refused saying that it should be handled verbally.  If I can get a correct name and address of this person I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for harrassment.

Debt Collector
Received multiple calls from a foreign sounding man whom I could barely understand at my place of employment all within minutes from one another.  First time he called, he kept saying he was from some Crime Protection Services and he had a legal case against me. When I asked what the case was about he got very abrupt with me and started yelling into the phone so I hung up.  He then called several times in a row and when he got my voicemail he would hang up and call back.  Then on the last call he left a message saying he was from the Legal Dept of Cash Unlimited and I owed over 3000.00. First of all, I don't know who Cash Unlimited is and I have never had a payday loan from them. I googled the number above and found a forum about them and how they have harrassed many people.  http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/forums/cashtodaylimited-20.html
