They call everyday!!!

This number called yesterday but there wasn't anyone on the line and then it hang up.....
It's probably a scam...

most of the 877 callers sound middle eastern. once they said their name was mr. pattinson and offered long-distance calls packages. they were calling for about 3 minutes and explaining to me how the offer worked. i hung up when the man told me to wait for the other guy to talk to me about it.

This number belongs to Startec Global Communications and their contact number is 800-208-9486. Call and complain.

These calls are trick calls to see when you are at home for reasons likley not kosher.

Same number same guy i think, called here. Asked for a mr. so n so I said YES even tho the person they asked for doesn't exists. he hung up, when i call back it just hangs up on me.  I want to know IF ANYONE IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT PEOPLE LIKE THIS OR ARE WE ALL JUST WASTING OUR TIME WRITING ABOUT IT.

I answered the call and man on the other end asked for Mr or Mrs...and I told him he had the wrong number. He repeated my phone number and asked me to verify...at this point I hung up. Funny thing is my number is unlisted.

just called in, didn't answer

We have received two calls from this number today (August 20, 2009).  We have call display, so I answered the first time only to be hung up on.  We did not answer the second time (about 1/2 hr later) as we recognized the number.  After searching this number on Google, we won't be answering this number from now on.

On 2009, August 11, at 1140 central time, a male named Aron or Eric (thick middle eastern accent) called from this number. He was trying to sell long distance telephone packages.

He said that he was calling from B.C. I asked him to repeat the information. He repeated it once and I asked him if he could repeat it again.

He asked me if I was deaf and said that my whole family was deaf. I informed him that I was hard of hearing (I can hear well) and would like to have him repeat the information again. He then got upset and said that I was a F***ing A****ole and he hung up.  

I called the number back but was unable to get through.

Very professional.

Got several calls from that number, no message was left...  samer as several of you, when I called back, music was playing... I just hope no astronomical fee shows up on my phone bill after dialing that number!!

when i asked who it was..without answering is...he hang up..

Me too he call my mom and i dont undrestand after i call and it was the moby song. Stupid guy.

Called and asked for me by name, I said no thinking telemarketer, asked if I was member of the household, I said no...again thought it was telemarketer, I said I am the "babysitter" and this foreign person hung up on me...phoned back and just music...smacks of someone using the line for a scam so they can call long distance and rack it on our phone bill

Missed the call from that same number...called back and music came on.

Ditto same here at 8:08 PM on 7/23/2009. Beeen getting a lot of 1-877 calls of late.

some one called me from this number and ask for my name, after i said "yes, im speaking" the guy hanged up...i called back but same song..moby pocelain, noone talks, very weird this stuff.kitchener. Ont.

My mother, french speaker from Quebec, received a call from this number from an english speaking man. She didn't understand and they hung up.

I tried to reach the man to talk to him.
I called 3 times.

1st time: No answer and the song from Mobi - Porceline was playing.
2nd time: Automatic message told me there was no one at that number.
3rd time: Mobi again.
