these companies esp cc companies are not allowed to leave voice messages due to confidentiality issues. what if it is a wrng no and they provided confidential info to the wrng person

called my 90 yo mother at 3:00am about MY debt - sick ba***ds - no call should be made at that time of the day / night - by the way my money is gone before I get it - they need to call 1-800 - F***-Y**

The call is from Capital One or affiliate collection agency.  If you do not have a Capital One acct you may want to review your credit report from all 3 bureaus.  Other affiliated # 888-292-4614.

I am getting 5 to 6 calls a day from this number and it is listed as name not provided.  This is harrassment as far as I am concerned.  If they can not list a company name I will not answer.  I answered one time and I had dead air space.

I got a phone call from this number on Sunday night at 8:34pm.  I don't like telemarketers calling me at night but at least they have enough descency to not call on a late Sunday night.  Who in their right mind is calling at this hour on Sunday?

This number belongs to GC Services, a bogus collection agency in Texas that collects debt for Capital One. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO..

I am getting the same # on my cell phone over 8 times a day. Including weekends AND holidays for Christ sakes. They are calling me at whatever time they want. Sunday I got the 1st one 9am then at 10am another 12:30 this went on all the way to 8:45 pm..oh well look at this they are calling me right now for the 6th time!! GIve me a break... yes I have a Capitol One card But I have called them after reading these and they say it has NOTHING to do with that. I googled though and believe it is a collection Agency GC Service and form what I have read on them they are not that professional at all and are VERY borderline harrassing. Maybe I will just answer nad let them know that everything has to be dne in writing and that I will file charges if they call my cell phone again...any other ideas?

This number calls me 2-3 times a day lately. Its caller id is unknown so I dont answer the phone & they dont leave a message. This place is just a nuisance to me!

They ask for a Mr Joseph Bennadetti...we have received many calls from this number for this name...who ever he is..unknown to us...

I called them back and they said they were with GC Services.  Wanted my Capital One account number....which i refused.

Wouldn't say they were a collection agency only that I needed to give them my account number so he could find out why they had called.

I declined to give that information again...checked my Cap 1 card...no reference to GC service and the customer service number was quite different.

I called the number on the back of the card...my account is fine....no pmt due or past due

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGot a call from them today. He said I won 2nd place in the American Family Publihishers sweepstakes. Said he was Officer Michael Jones from the Federal Trade Commision in Wahington D.C. told me to call another number to except the award. I'll let you know more when I call

They called me regarding a virgin mobile prepaid phone.. I had the phone and wasnt using anymore.

Multiple calls today starting at 8:30AM.  Did not leave any messages.

GC Services, collection agency, dead air when I answered, added to blocked number list

GC Services is a call center/collections agency on behalf of Capital One.

They call from several numbers and "unknown" numbers too.

No messages, no nothing.

This number is for GC Services (http://www.gcserv.com); a company that "specializes" in Call-Centers and Debt Collection.

It is a collection company.  I have excellent credit and no behind debt.  They get the last name of someone they are trying to collect a debt on and call everyone with the same last name in that city until they find someone who knows the person they are trying to find.  They have called me for several debts on several people and continue to call me even when I have made it clear that I am not the person they are searching for.  I have received over 40 calls from them this year.  They are abusive and the governement needs to investigate them for their practice.  I support their efforts in trying to collect debt, but harrasing people that they have no reasonable reason to believe is involved in their debt must be illegal.  Experion is the company that gives them the phone numbers.

These people are Capital One Credit if you don't have an account or card with them, just say so, and they'll take you off the list...

this number has called 6 times in a seven hour period.  Both my house and my cell.  How knows who it is? Sounds like they are calling excessively just to make the phone ring which is against the fair credit collections act. BLOCKED!!!

Collection Agency for Capital One

I don't normally work from home but I am today.   I've gotten 4 calls from this number from 9am until 1:30.  I am not late on any credit cards or payments so I don't believe that it is a collection agency.

Is GC services a collection company

I got a call from this number twice. I haven't answered, but I am very late with Capital One, HSBC (BestBuy), Chase, and AES. Likely a collection agency.

I've been receiving calls from this number as well, for about 4 days.  I am late on Capital One, HSBC, and BMW Financial accounts.  Not sure if it is one of them, as they never leave a voicemail.

I keep getting calls from this number. It's very annoying when it beeps thru when I'm talking to someone else. Does anyone know who this number belongs to?

I have been getting numerous calls a day from this number.  I answered, once, but hung up when I got "dead air".  I believe this may be related to calls I was getting about 2 weeks ago from a credit card company.
