This phone number is a collection agency with a variety of clients. One of these include Virgin Mobile Canada.

If you are being pestered by these phone calls, Simply answer and they will remove your number from the list. I had missed several calls and decided to call them back. After about 3 minutes on hold, a girl answered and asked how can she help. I said there had been several calls been made to this number and I am returning the call.

Moments later she said a name, and I responded saying no, this is Damien. She said thank you, I'll remove your number so this wont happen again. She was very nice, and we chatted a couple minutes about scams and how people are afraid to answer the phone.

Advice to everybody.. Answering the phone will not hurt you. Simply avoid giving out information. Enjoy your conversation with the person who is only doing their job. Many of these people are very nice when you are nice to them and nothing will be harmed by doing so. If anything, you will make it easier for others.

There's nothing they can do if a) you are in Ontario and b) it has been longer than 2 years. The Statute of Limitations in Ontario is 2 years for ordinary debts such as this. It changed from 6 years to 2 in 2004 so you can simply tell them to ''prove'' it, They'll know what it means: basically that is for them to show that they are still within the 2 year limitation period. I got the same call from the same number and I just checked the number on the internet. It's always a scam artist, a wrong #, a telemarketer or this Global Company when an unknown # comes up on my phone!

I GET CALLS ANYWHERE FROM 4-7 TIMES A DAY FROM THESE PEOPLE FOR THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS HAVEN'T GOTTEN A LETTER YET.

I got a phone call from 1 877 330 1815. They don't want to give me any information unless I give out my name and number, which I refuse to do.

Yup CVB Collection, a Credit collecting company, and yup very annoying even though I have nothing like that outstanding

this company calls me everyday. I told them that I am not the person they are looking for, they apologized for the error but still calling my number. Maybe my phone number must have been used by the person whom they are looking for but I don't have any idea who the person is.  Very annoying.

Filed a complaint today with the CRTC - will have to see if they act on it.  They are calling my cell and my home number.  I don't owe anyone anything!

I gave my cell number since they have it anyway. They had the wrong name and said they would remove my number from the fill. Since I was not whom they were looking for.

They called me early this morning and I was just asleep from a long night shift. Luckily I had stopped at Denny's on the way home and ate a lumber jack slam with a chocolate shake. I called back at noon right when I had to take a HUGE dump. As soon as the guy answered and blurted out his spheil I just unloaded there was so many farts too. I let out a massive sigh and then said I'll call back after I wipe.

I just received this call also saying that they are from Global Credit. Along with a new phone number for my business. If this keeps up I will report them!! I have nothing to do with that company. Who ever had the number should have done something about it. What a bunch of FREAKIN DUMBASS!!!!

This company called my daughter while she was in school, but she didn't answer it as she doesn't answer anything she doesn't know.

I called the company and said they called my daughter (and her age) and asked why they were calling. They said they were looking for an "Ian", I told them she's had this number for like 3 yrs and said they'd remove the number immediately.

I'm going to complain to crtc too.

I do not want anymore calls from this number.

I received a call tonight from this number on my cell, I never answer calls like this but decided to for whatever reason. The robot voice told me to call right away that they had sent me mail concerning an issue I needed to look at. I  called back on my home phone and got put on hold. I was concerned because I heard of a scam where they could charge you thousands of dollars just for answering a call. I hung up. Then I decided to go online to see if this was a scam. I will never answer this call again
I suggest to you not to answer or call back.

I set all their numbers to go straight to voicemail a long time ago. Here's what Global Credit's automated voice leaves me:

"We have made several attempts to contact you with no response. This is not a solicitation or telemarketing call. We have an important personal business matter we need to discuss with you. If you feel. You are being contacted in error please do not hesitate to call our office have your phone number removed. Our toll free number is 18773373836. Your response to this matter is required. Thank you."

I got my current number around summer 2012 and obviously inherited it from a person that has debt.

They call me too weekly, I agree with Rita, don't waste your minutes on them... I decline the call, I just have to figure out how to stop it from going to voicemail on my iphone. The voicemail says "If you are Loretta press 4" and it is computer generated.

Hey guys same with me last night I was laying with my siamese cat and talking to my son.  I got a call as well some lady saying I am this person.  What a joke.  I owe no one no  moeny....guess why hahahaha I went bankrupt because of an a** Portuguese piece of crap in my life>....user and abuser....anyway, enough of that don't worry guys back in the day I worked at a collection agency....guess what those letters you get from lawyers are bogus....made up .....

Don't worry....just ignore the calls....or call your local carrier and tell them to block the number....most carriers will be happy to help out....
