I've seen other people say that calls from this number are debt collectors trying to collect on student loans.  I have neither any debt nor any student loans.  I get calls as much as 10 times a day, beginning as early as 8:15 a.m.

I get anywhere from 6 to 10 calls EVERY day from this number beginning at 8:15 a.m. and ending as late as 9:30 p.m.

Debt collector called my cell, asking for person I've never heard of. It appears company is checking in student loans: ECMC Solutions http://www.ecmcsolutions.org

At least answer and tell them they have a wrong number. If you don't have loans, they are probably looking for someone else. You may have been left as a reference and they are trying to help your friend or family member avoid defaulting which results in wage garnishment and tax seizure. Ecmc solutions is not a collection agency, they just help people who can't pay their loans.

The caller from a different number in North Carolina leaves a message to call this number three to four times a day....I do not have a student loan or a past due loan....they are driving me crazy and I don't know what to do.

They are not debt collectors.  they are trying to give borrower's the options that the servicers won't willingly give.  calls only happen when they have info that says the loans are past due.

Got a call from them for the first time today. They left a voice mail message that simply said to return the call at that number. No identification of the caller or the name of the business or reason for the caller.

I'm not going to phone someone unless I know who they are and what they want. I've had a lot of medical bills due to an accident last year, but I am current with everyone, so that can't be it.

Does someone know who calls from this number.

It's a company that deals with debts and student loans, ECMC solutions. I went to College America and they tranfered part of my student loan to them. They are a huge pain in the butt because I'm currently pregnant and on bedrest so I cannot work and cannot pay the loan right now. They said they were going to put it in deferment and then I wouldn't receive anymore calls but they continue to call.
