Try Caller ID with Ring Controller. It works to stop these calls.  I've researched all types of these devices --most of them not being made anymore.

The one thing about Caller ID with Ring controller that makes it better than all the others is the ease of use, and simple to setup.

All the others, like PrivacyCorp's "Caller ID Manager" and Digitone's
"PrivacyCall Blocker" seem so complicated

Same story with me, pretty much.  I live in San Francisco.

I tried to sign up for AT&T's service that allows you to block specific incoming messages, but they won't do it for calls from free area codes like 877 or 800.  What a racket!

Every morning between 8 am and 9 am, usually between 8 am and 8:15 am even on saturday and sunday i get these calls from this number.  once it actually gave me a reference number and i tried it back, and it first rang for a while, then it went to a busy signal and then it came on and told me the old, we're sorry but the number you are trying to call has been disconnected or is no longer in service.  now all it does is just ring and ring and ring.  i have tried looking it up in a reverse directory and have been told that there is a listing but that i need to pay so and so amount of money to see the listing, im thinking i should call my phone company.  i have added my phone number to every do not call list that i can find and it still doesn't stop, however all other junk calls have stopped.  i tried blocking the number and was told that i can't even do that, so this is really serious.  I'm in Arkansas getting these calls, where's everyone else?  I have been getting these calls all year.

I get called every morning and sometimes from the number and get a recording to call back and referance a certain number, but no number is given.  When I call back to try and put a stop to this, I get no answer. It's so annoying, especially when my husband works evenings and doesn't get to bed until lake and then is woken up a 8am EVERY morning. I'm going to call the phone company and see if they can block the number.

just a message to call this number.  when i call .. no answer.
i'm thinking i'm going to get rid of my house phone if the phone comany or "do not call list" can not put a stop to this.

I get call from this number every day and get the recording to call back. When I call back, there is no answer...and it's really bothering me.
