Thy want tell me nothing either I'm sick of this number calling house.

I keep getting the same phone calls from the same number thy want my son and my son has lived out of state for 10 yrs..who is this number belong too?

This company has called me a bunch of times saying that I owe and stuff and it's the same guy and I don't recall owing anything else and to me I don't know they sound like sketchy and unprofessional

BULLY FOR YOU,  THESE CALLS ARE DANGEROUS

and so they just keep calling. :(  There is no choice but to sue because sending all the letters and wasting all the time is unavoidable.

I think these are the living pieces of fecal matter that are continually calling me (illegally) for SELENA. We neither have now or have ever known "Selena". There is no one at our home by that name, nor has there ever been. Repeated requests for them to stop harassing us have gone unheeded.

Here is some of their BBB file - they are rated A now - which is a huge joke and makes the BBB look about as "unbiased" as crooked politician. The BBB will obviously overlook illegal business procedures - and with over 50 complaints, I would hate to see what a poorly rated business could get by with.

I answered in a robust energetic and friendly voice.  I said, "Hello, hello, hello, hi, what's up?" Loser would actually not speak to me, he hung up.  I kinda like this approach!

Got a call from this company as well- "Harvard Collection Services" when I pressed them to identify themselves. Uses illegal tactics, so I got a lawyer. 101-185-5260 is also a phone number they use for "spoofing" to show up on caller ID.

I work in a hospital. Just got a call from these bozos 877-339-5643.  I never utter a sound when I get an 800, 900, 866 or 877 number. Just pick up the phone.  Sometimes after a few seconds of silence someone will get on the line, however this time no answer and after almost 30 seconds it disconnected.  

If you are at your job and/or have the ability to transfer the call, when they ask for someone, just tell them one moment and transfer them back to THEIR OWN NUMBER, or any other number.  Sometimes I will transfer them to some other bill collector that has been most anonnying lately or to the FTC @ 877-382-4357.

This number called my work and the guy asked for "Mike". I told him there was no Mike in my office and he started asking and demanding Mike's number, which I told him I don't have. This guy spoke with an accent and was EXTREMELY rude. As soon as I put him on hold he hung up.

I just have to say I deal with a lot of telemarketers and scammers calling in, and this guy was one of the biggest @$$holes I've ever dealt with.

No they don't.   They just don't recognize your request until you send a certified Cease and desist notice,  with signature requested to validate that you made the request.  Then if they are legit,  they will cease.  If they are not legit,   and are a scammer,    they will continue to call.

I have no idea why these people would call me... I don't owe anything to any debt collector.  This is a complete B.S. SCAM.

These people are harassing many people trying to get SS# and information. If you ask any questions they hang up on you.

After reading several post here, calling the company, and doing some extensive research, I was able to determine that this was a legitimate debt that I owed.  The debt was relatively old (one I had, embarrassingly, forgotten about) and I was a little apprehensive seeing how everyone I talked to had an accent.  However, I did end up making payment arrangements, I'm hoping that I didn't just make a huge mistake.  I will update if does ended up being a mistake.

Next time he calls, f**k with him a little bit. Ask him uncomfortable questions like, "What are you wearing?" or "Can I sing you a song?" Stuff like that. It won't make him any less rude, but you can have a little fun anyway. :P lol

They can still sell your information to other companies and get commission if you give it to another company. It sucks but it's true. :/

This is a scam company working from other parts of the country. They will constantly call you until you give in. I had this done to me and it really got ridiculous where he was calling 20 times in 2 minutes. The guy, may be a different guy, threatened my job by calling and harassing 20 times a day.  Once I call his bluff on what I owe thats when all this started. He would leave laughing messages and tell me that I'm done. I filed for a harassment suit and then my job took care of it on their end, but I had to change my number.  The FBI took control of it after that. Now, I think they're back calling my number which nobody has only family and friends. So I don't know how this company got my number.  So, I blocked the number but it is annoying to see that I have 15 missed messages in one minute.
I will call this person and see what is it that they want and of course it'll be that I owe money which I don't.

Same as most of u, this # kept calling my phone and I answered today cause I thought it was a company that I was waiting for a phone call on and it wasn't it was a guy with an accent that asked me by my name, so he knew my first and last name and I acted like it wasn't me when I asked who he was he told me his name was hernadea and I asked what company r u with he said the howard company and he said who am I speaking with and I said her daughter and he hung up on me

I wish they would stop calling me there are five people in my family with the same name.

I have been getting calls from this # for a couple months now.   They try to get me to verify an address that I havent lived at for years and he said ok them and asked me to verify my date of birth.   I told him I wouldnt verify any information and to remove me from his call list, but I have told them that several times already.   I am just not going to answer it anymore if when they call.

This number just called my phone and wanted to verify my husbands SSN how did he get the last four digits.  I had my husband call back and they hung up on him. How can I stop this and How did they get his information?  And what can I do about it?

This number calls me everyday, sometimes 3 times a day and it has been going on for 2 months. I answered once and when I said hello I heard some strange voice in the background, waited a few seconds, think he said hi and then he hung up. Guess my happy voice startled him. They never leave a message and just call and call. I am on the do not call list and I do not get any other calls. I just got a new phone and if there is a way to block this number I will find it and do it.
From what everyone else has written it makes me wonder how they think they will ever get any money (if they are a collection agency) when they are so rude? Many years ago when I owed money to someone the collection person i paid it to was very nice and polite. The other 2 that had called were rude and they got nothing out of me. Being nice usually gets a better response.

i keep getting calls from this person they   never awnser when i say hello and hang up within 10 seconds i told my mom about this and she said not to worry but i do worry because what if they are trying to get information about me so they could kidnap me and hurt me or they are trying to hurt my familey  they call everyday once or twice a day. i have no idea how who ever this is got my phone number but its creepy and weird
