HOW TO GET BACK AT THEM: I PUT THEIR MESSAGE ON A TAPE RECORDER, I CALL THEM BACK AND PLAY IT BACK TO THEM OVER AND OVER. EVERY TIME THEY CALL, CALL THEM BACK 10 TIMES. ALSO, YOU CAN CALL THEM FROM PUBLIC PHONES!

I googled this number 877-339-7500 Came up with True Logic. Same scenerio calls around 3pm every day. I called it back asked why type of company they were and they couldn't give me that information. So I told them to not call my number again....

i get calls from this number everyday several times a day and even on the weekends looking for someone i dont even know.  they say that they are a debt collecting agency (Bay Area Credit Service) but dont even leave a reference number so i press option #1 as if i was that person just to talk to someone to let them know that they have the wrong number and when i get place on a supposed transfer to an operater the call gets disconnected....i want this to stop because obviously someone gave them wrong information (phone number)....PLEASE STOP CALLING

This same number also calls in regard to Bay Area Credit Services.  If you have ever had some kind of debt they call you.  If you really want to get under there skin ask for a copy of the "bill" they are collecting for.  If they ask for your address or any other personal information DO NOT give it to them.  If they are a valid collection agency they SHOULD already have all your information.  If they ask you to confirm your address, have them read it off to you. If it is "right" you can always screw with them and tell them sorry that is not the right address, if you were a real collection agency you would have my correct and up to date information. Hang up on them.  

Pretty much do whatever you can to get under there skin.  It really is fun.



Also this call was done through an automated calling service.  Tonight they called.  When connected to an operator she asked what my fiance's name was and the phone number their company was calling.  I told him to NOT tell her anything and that she should know since THEY called him.  Since he didn't give out any information she said they will call back another time when they have his number.

They called me at 3 but I didn't anwers and they haven't call me back

Constant automated phone calls and we cannot call back without being on HOLD for a very long time.  cannot get a hold of ANYBODY!!
This needs to stop.

I have received several calls for some other person.  I have had this phone number for about 10 years.  

I received phone calls from Jamie Roberts - 877-339-7500 - she does not stop leaving messages even when I informed her that no such person lives here.

Got a call from them today but of course this is not the first time. They constantly call someone else name.

I get calls from these guys every 2-3 days.  Just this morning they called, I didn't answr the phone, they left no message.  When I have talked to them, they insist that I owe on an Amoco Gas Card from 1992!!  When I tell them that I have no idea what they're talking about, they go into asking me for personal information to "verify" that this account is mine.  I've told them to go away and not call me anymore to no avail.  I've even threatened to report them to the State of Illinois and the FCC - they insist that they are exempt from the Do Not Call List.

Well add me to the list.  Don't know how they got this number ( not registered in my name) but they are very rude and won't give information.  Very, mean, rude man said I owed Sprint.  Told him never had an acct. with Sprint. Asked if last four of my ssn was "XXXX" I said not that is not my last four--he said well don't matter it's still your acct. Calling me Feb 2008 saying it was a Sprint Bill from 1994. I told him again, never had Sprint acct, and I check my credit report every year, Sprint never there in 14 years.  He refused to let me speak with a supervisor, said he will get my CORRECT SSN and call again because it WAS my acct. regardless of what I said.  Called another day, lady said she would remove my number.  Two days later they somehow got my cell# and started calling my cell--NOW I'M ANGRY.  Called again, another lady gave more info than the rude man, and quoted an address in a city that I have NEVER LIVED in, again told me she would remove my number on 2-20-08.  If I get another call, I'm reporting them to every agency you all listed.  HARASSMENT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT for what they are doing.

I KEEP GETTING NUMEROUS CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ON MY CELL PHONE.  I ANSWER THE CALLS AND NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING.  THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE EITHER, I AM SICK OF THEM CALLING MY CELL!!

This is what I have found:

You can contact the FTC www.ftc.gov and they will put a stop to their harassment. Meanwhile, contact them directly and warn them to cease and desist within 10 business days. Tell them that you are going to file complaints with FCC and FTC. Companies are required by law to remove you from their call lists when requested within 24 hours.

Next contact FCC www.FCC.gov, and file a complaint for misuse of Telecommunications Facilities (877 number being used to harass you).

I have receiving a minimum of 50 calls from this number in the past two weeks.  I too am accused of owing Sprint money.  I don't have a Sprint account, nor have I had one.  I have sent a "Notice to Cease Contact", per Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act demanding they stop contact via phone.  I am also filing a complaint with the FCC.

The firm calling me had my social security number and other personal and private info.  They did not reveal they were a collection agency and they deny they are subject to federal debt collection practices.

Please report them, and shut them down.  DO NOT give them or confirm the personal and private info they have on you - I have a feeling they are scammers, so please be careful.

number??? 877-339-7500. When I answered, a woman asked to speak to "Jason". I hesitated because I have also received numerous calls on
my cell phone for "Jason" from 800-511-8670. When she asked "Can you hear
me?", I said "yes" and informed her that Jason was not at this number and
that I did not know Jason. She responded "I'm sorry and hung up". When
calls have come from te 800-51-8670 number and I did not answer, a voice
message was left. I have been recording the voice messages for future use.

These pests have been calling my son's cell phone repeatedly.  They finally left a message for a Chris C. (I'll spare Chris the public humiliation of telling people his last name in case he didn't intentionally use my son's phone #).  So either this Chris is a con artist... or the company screwed up.  Calls are from 866-488-4299 and 877-339-7500 and give the same 'reference #'.  Now that I know from other posts what this is, I won't bother calling the collection agency.  Thank you Anonymous from Feb 17.

These calls are happen every day now saying I owe money from Sprint. I never had a Sprint account.

Same thing as everyone else.  Got the call at work.  I have no outstanding debt - so these people are either honestly wrong number people, or they are actual sales calls.  I'm planning on answering it next time I see the number calling and just laying into them... maybe that will help.

Got a message and a reference number to call.  Was on hold for 10 minutes and gave up

Success in getting them to stop.  1.  Send a "cease and desist" letter as provided in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  Do an internet search for this act to find out more.  2.  complain to the better business bureau via their national web site.  You will need their Colorado address as listed in one of the messages above.  Whether they are reaching you in error or about some real debt these approaches will get them to stop calling.

Same as above...Called me 8 AM Saturday .....Same phone # and recording ????They have called several times now....just filed do not call on these "people"

Calls three times a day without leaving a reason for the call just a reference number.  This is my office number which is unlisted.  I don't want them calling.

Same thing.  About a dozen calls over the last 2-3 weeks.

Same story--we've gotten about ten calls from them and reported them to Texas do not call.

I have received calls on 02/10 and 02/14 from a different number 866-488-4299 which Google identifies as True Logic Financial at P.O. Box 4437 Englewood CO. This number 877-339-7500 shows a Google address of 10000 Geddes Suite 100 Englewood CO.  Same message, same reference number.  I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry mid week with the 866-488-4299 earlier in the week.  I will do the same with this current number

I've been getting calls from this number for weeks. The caller is True Logic Financial - a debt-collection agency. They call every day around 3 and leave messages that say "This is not a sales call. Please call us back using this number and reference a code XXXXXXXX". I did not call, but I think someone whom they are trying to reach regarding a debt has given them a wrong number. I had a similar accident two years ago when some collection agency called me several times looking for someone. Every conversation started with a recording "This is not a sales call. This message is being recorded".
