Got the same thing today. Once i realized what was going on I had to repeatedly say that i wasnt interested and to cancel any kind of perceived order and bill me nothing. They guy was pretty pushy and tried to tell me how many hits we got last year...which is kind of ridiculous because all of our business is word of mouth and i've never gotten a cold call from a new client in the 5 years i've been here.

I get a call from them at least once a month.  I collaborate what "spierce" mentions about the call

411 type yellow pages, we are an investigative company so i tried to pull his website up twice , of course no website came up and the one that did had our companies obsolete address from 10 years ago. i advised him of that and he gave a "THE411.com website.  an R&B group came up on that internet search, and i asked him what service or what does he need?  he advised our company paid him 495.00 last year for our listing and he is updating us and our fee for next year will be the same..I told him we NEVER had an account and if he charges 1 penny he will be sued and I was taping him.  When i asked what our account number was, he put a nigerian sounding guy on who couldnt give me the info !!! they put me back to first guy who asked if i wanted to purchase service/? i asked if he was an idiot or just stupid? and he hung up on me!!!! LMAO HAHAHAHH

When I answered there was a long pause then the caller hung up.

I dont leave the answerer on, so they cant leave any message.

I've been getting multiple calls per day from this number lately.  No-one there when I answer, if I call it back it just rings.  Getting really annoying, but thankfully is all from one number so I can just block calls from the number.

I received the call today, 12/21/10, at 3:30 EST. The caller said he was calling for Visa and Mastercard and they were offering a lower interest rate.  I said "Not interested". He said thank you and hung up.  Sounds like a scam - I should have kept him on longer to see if he would ask for a credit card account number - then I would have KNOWN it was an illegal operation.

The caller said she was calling for Visa and Mastercard and hung up before finishing the sentence.  I reported to the Do Not Call website.

411 Yellow Pages trying to get our company to pay $495 to be listed on their site. They call and want to verify company name, phone number, website, etc. then basically tell you that they're going to "renew" our account and we'll be charged $495 for a 6 month listing.  We've never done business with them in the past but they try to make you believe that you have.  When I tell them that we're not interested and that we have never subscribed to their services in the past they say we were listed last year and we got x amount of hits from it.  I just kept telling him we're not interested until he gave up.

Got the call from 877-344-0320.  Caller hang up as soon as my answering machine picks up.  Suspec to be scam.

After I had the first call last week, I filed a complain on FCC, since my cell has been on Do Not Call list, in the past three days, I have had two or three calls, each time I filed another complain on FCC site. I will repeat the complain as long as I am called.

Have gotten at least 4 calls from 877-344-0320 in the past 24 hours. Reported them to the Nat'l DoNotCall Registry...for all the good that will do. They hang up after I say "hello." I call back that number and get some canned message about calling "Freedom" to refinance my home loan 1-800-220-1500. Just called that number and got another canned message telling me to leave a message if I'm calling for any reason other than to refinance my home loan.

best thing to do about these calls is register your number at www.donotcall.gov and you can also file a complaint at that site when you receive calls

Getting so many calls.. ..no one is on when you answer. Your phone co can block this number.

Keep getting calls from 877-343-0320.  It is always Emily and she wants to tell me how I qualify for a lower interest rate on one of my credit cards!  Really.. I know they have called my number 50+ timees!  I'm definitely reporting them to the FTC!

I also got a call from this number claiming to be Visa/Mastercard and that I was pre approved for a reduction in my interest rate. When I asked what card they were calling about he reiterated, "Visa/Mastercard." I said, "yeah, I heard you the first time but I have several so which one are you calling about?" Then he hung up. I suspect a scam wherein they get more of your personal info or current card particulars but I don't know for sure. In the end I would just say be careful.

If I had more time I'd program my computer to cal them a few thousand times and then leave town.

Call showed up on caller id no message

Caller claimed to be with Visa/Mastercard Services and offered to lower my interest rates. BEWARE of this 877 number! SCAM!

Constant "hang-up" calls. Can't this be stopped. It seems to be a loan agcy.

10/26/2010 - got a call from 877-344-0320, caller ID said it was Gurstel & Chargo Debt Collectors.  Answering machine picked up, they hung up.  Called Gurstel & Chargo at 763-267-6700 and they couldn't tell me what numbers they would call from.  They asked me for my phone number.  Wait.  You can't tell me what number you called me from, but you want MY phone number?  Ah, NO.

They called today.  After I answer with company & wait for a response, then saying hello a couple of times.  They just hang up.  No time for this stuff!
