RECIEVED SAME MESSAGE ON SAME DAY AND TIME. NEW WAS SCAM BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ACCOUNT WITH ANBODY WITH NAME STERLING ANYWHERE. HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE GETTING EVEYONE'S CELL NUMBERS. WHO CAN WE REPORT THIS TO?

Got the same message about a sterling alert. Except mine said to call 888-681-1666. They need to figure this out and get it fixed.

I just reported this to Sterling Bank, ATT and the Attorney General's office. Of course they should be able to trace who opened this account. Why can't they prosecute these people?

Same text message as the others so after reading all of this I decided to call & find out what the scam was. Apparently all of the reports worked; the number is now "temporarily disabled" per the recording.
