Glad I looked up who was calling as I dont answer toll free caller ID calls.  My monthly payment didn't go through on my credit card, I called up to resolve it spoke to someone who spoke perfect english, was very polite and helpful even though technically my payment was late. Resolved the billing error and will continue with the great service from lexington law.  I've been using them for about 9 months at this point and nearly every month I see some results, even if small.  They do work.  I tried them on a reference from a friend who also used them, and now just purchased his first home because of repairing his credit.

I have used Lexington Law for probably 5 or 6 months now and I have had 17 items removed from my credit report. I have been able to get a credit card and my ultimate goal is getting mortgage at the beginning of 2014. I don't think I could've done it without LL. They've never promised me anything and they make that clear. Although pricey, definitely worth it if you made mistakes in earlier years.

A small note about Lexington Law. It isn't Lexington Law that is the problem. It is the 30 day crap that the bs collection agencies have to get up off their dead a***s and do something when Lexington Law sends them a letter. Which is why it looks like Lexington Law isn't doing that much. For Lexington Law to deal with the 30 day bs of collection agency crap takes several years at $100 a month. After Lexington Law stops, the collection agencies start up again. Usually by selling your debt to another collection agency which counts as a new ding on your credit report. Also of note. Most collection agencies function under multiple dbas and every collection agency report to the credit bureau counts as a ding to your credit report. So basically you are stuck with paying $100 to Lexington Law from now on if you wish for your credit report to stay clean. That and using Prepaid Legal now Legal Shield that the provider law firm that they send to you does. So in short it cost $200 or more a month to keep your credit report clean. Enjoy.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaloney @ do it yourself!!!  Firstly Navigating that whole dispute process system the bureaus have in place is a pain in the a***. Not saying it can't be done - but I sincerely don't believe anyone is "better off" doing it themselves unless they are familiar with the system. I for one was discouraged by the lack of response from the bureaus as well as my own ignorance about the laws surrounding consumer credit and fair reporting. Better to hire a professional. Secondly...  do enough research into the whole credit scoring system...you'll start to figure out it's a scam anyway.

By the way - signed up with Lexington Law a month ago - so far 7 items removed. I was shocked and speechless. Initially I really wasn't sure what to expect - figured Id just throw a few punches at cleaning my credit - I have some weird misc. items that I have no idea what they are/where they came from.  I thought they would come back and suggest I just try to settle on some of the debts - Not Even!!  The negative marks were just GONE. I subscribe to another credit monitoring site - and the minute I got the email from Lexington saying removals detected... checked my monitoring site - and sure enough, it picked up on the deletions too. My CK score went up...about 60 points in one month. O.O  I am still in the poor range - but... just barely. Waiting to see what happens over the next 30 days.

Lexington Law is a chronic spammer, fond of posting dubious customer testimonials. For example, on 24 October 2012 someone using the alias "James" slapped the same comment in 35 mostly dormant WhoCalledUs threads at a rate of one per minute. See if this sounds like the cheerleading going on here:

"Call Lexington Law [number redacted] they will end collector calls and clean up credit scores for you. I had an ex-wife leave me a mess, they took care of business at a reasoable [sic] fee! I wish I would have found them sooner."

Each of the affected number threads represented a different collection agency, some of which are really obscure. The outliers were a fake payday loan collector, a mortgage buyer, and a credit reprice scammer. But details and facts don't matter to spammers, only cheap exposure.

If you want people who can't follow simple website Terms of Service to hold your hands and take your money for things you can do yourself, go right ahead. I can't stop you.

You cannot pay someone to "fix" your credit score. Can't be done. If there is something bad on your credit report, it stays there, unless there is an error. You should NEVER pay someone who says they can fix your credit. That being said - look at all the SHILLS!

I have never had a problem wit Lexington Law.  I have always been able to speak with someone on the phone or correspondence through email.  I have used their services on two different occasions and the first time I used their service, my score was escalated into the 700+ range.  I enlisted their service for a second time (due to an illness that caused my credit rating to deteriorate) and within two months, 3 items have already been removed and my (Experian) score has gained 28 points since the reenlisting of Lexington Law.  Yes, you can probably handle these things on your own.  But I honestly do not have the time and for me, it makes life easier.

Simply do not file. Save your money. Just wait and everything will go into "Charge-Off" status and it will be 7 years from the date the company you owed money to last talked with you. So monitor your phone calls and answer only calls you recognize.

If you had 99 negative items removed, you wasted your money. Those type of negative items are on your credit report for only one year. Every month you would have waited, 10-15 would have dropped of per month. Instead you paid Lexington Law big money for nothing.

Your right they are not responsive......until they want money. I used them for 10 months and had 4 items removed but it cost me  $800.00. You have to ask yourself a question, is it worth it. I say no. They will get rid of the tiniest things such as late payments but nothing more. If you have bad credit and bills that were not paid, I would just say wait the 7 years and it will be exponged from your credit report. I had 5 credit cards I did not pay and they all eventually went into "Charge-Off" status. Of those 5, Lexington Law did such a good job, 3 of those went back into collection thus I have to wait 7 years all over again when these 3 go back into "Charge-off Status" whenever that is. All 5 of those I had 18 months left and they would have been exponged. Don't waste your money.

It's Lexington Law. My account was to draft on 4/1 and I didn't transfer $ into my checking because 4/1 was a Sunday. They were calling at 09:30 ON 4/2. It was my error but they waived the late charge and were wonderful. They've done very well with my account thusfar.

after about six months using Lexington, I have spent about $550 to raise my credit score about 10 points. That doesn't seem like much of a value to me. My score is not horrible but could use some improvement. As far as I can tell, their service includes sending challenge form letters to your creditors about once a month.

Lexington Law Firm is the best.   I have used them about 1 year.  A few months in 2007, then again this year.  In that time they have gotten 99 negative things off of my reports.

I have been using Lex Law for 1 month and have had at least 4 negative items removed from one of the bureaus and 3 off another that had been paid and not yet removed i tried doing it myself but with little or no results. They did state that many of the items could be taken care of but unlikely that all items would be taken care of. My credit score has already improved!

They didn't leave a message, but Lexington Law Firm is currently working on getting my credit file 'corrected'.  I know my payment didn't go through my bank account last week, so they emailed me and this is probably direct followup to let me know my card didn't go through.  So, it looks like this is a legitimate phone call from Lexington, but they just haven't left any messages.

Here the deal - ALL three credit bureaus are relatively mindless entities that don't give a crap about life's hardships or extenuating circumstances that impact one's ability to pay a bill (like being stationed in Iraq and busily preoccupied with survival and not getting killed).  Most of my credit issues evolved around reassignments abroad, war and hardship situations.  So far, Lexington Law has been of great assistance to me.  The credit companies have to be continuously hammered with disputes and protests over and over in order to finally get some results.  That's basically their strategy, and it works over time.  I'm glad I can afford to pay someone to help me with this horrendous debt and credit system we are all forced to have to live with in this country.

I have used Lexington law for about a year.  They do work.  I have had lots of items removed.  It does take time and patience.  If you have any questionable items or items that are not yours dispute them first on your own and sign up once resolved.  You do become less creditable to the Bureaus so get those out of the way.  Their ability to answer your questions is not very good.  All responses to questions are canned and very sales oriented to convince you to stay with the program.  I have asked 2 or three questions at one time or very close together by e-mail.  The Reponses were so canned I could not tell which response answered which question.  I would recommend them with the understanding of how they work.  They just dispute everything.  I had several items I selected to not be disputed because I was paying them off in collections and they were disputed anyway.  I did have a lot of legitimate negative items removed.

Lexington Law doesn't promise anything, no.  They have, however, gotten several things off of my credit report (and my wife's) and I've been happy with the results.  One note, though:  I also did some of the legwork myself and got just as much removed for free as I did with Lexington at $80 a month.  They are very slow and only work on a few things at a time.  They are also not responsive at all when you have questions, at least in my experience.
