Robot call about collecting a hospital bill. I traced the number to Optimum Outcome Inc, an agency which does collect unpaid medical bills. I checked with the hospital, and I do not have any outstanding bills. I called the number left by the robot and could not speak to anyone, just robotic attempts to sell emergency buttons and rebate vouchers. This qualifies as a scam in my book.

I had the same thing happen, they left as bunch of messages saying they were optimum outcomes inc. and that I owed press health insurance money. I called Press and they confirmed this is a scam that they know about. When I called their number back they kept trying to get me to "confirm" a whole bunch or personal information.

I received to calls from, 877-409-0839 while I was still asleep, no message left.  Basically this is just a nuisance call.

There is a really cool app called Mr. Number if you have a smart phone.  You can set it to block any numbers you want.  Send me mail, when I have the money, I'll research the bill and make arrangements.  Don't call me, I'll call you.

got a phone call for my mom on my phone who never uses my number for anything kept asking her for her name address and social # when she asked what it was for the man just kept telling her its personal business.

Total scam. I bought a brand new HTC 4G LTE last week with a new number from Sprint and am constantly harassed by 3-5 calls a day from this number. I am 18 and don't owe anyone a dime. I've had no medical problems and have never visited a hospital since the day I was born.

They call constantly as in multiple times a day. They never leave vm and when I answer its silence or a hangup. Its pretty damn annoying. > : |

Just bought a new Samsung Windows phone. Does anyone know how to block this number?  I owe for nothing. Have had some medical issues, but my out of pocket for the year was met on April 1st, and that's about when these calls began. How do I report this number to stop the calls?  Thanks

I learned a real effective solution for these types of calls.
When they ask for whomever, just ask are you a friend of the family?  There's been a real tragedy and they are asking you to make a donation to to the Mothers Agaisnt Druck Driveing.  How, much would like to donate today?  Will that be by check or credit card?  Get their information.  No matter what they say or ask stick to this script.  Sooner or later they will leave you alone.

today someone called my new cell number  2 times but did not say anything.  I  was curious  about the number so I  looked it up.  sometimes theses people fail to realize that  people change their phone numbers or  simply cancel their cell  phone contract  and this should be taken into consideration when calling  another person who inherited the persons  cell phone number  as well as home phone numbers which are often recycled constyantly     ALL PHONE NUMBERS  ARE  RECYCLED OVER AND OVER AND OVER  again  to different customers whenever any person gets a telephone  the number has always been given to  previous customers    ALWAYS.    
THESE  THINGS SHOULD BE  CONSIDERED WHEN  THEY CALL AND  NO ONE KNOWS THE PERSON  THEY ARE CALLING FOR.    I have been getting all types of  CRAZY messages texts voicemails  on my new cell phone  when I tell them I do not know this person  people  think  it is a lie BUT    I do  not have any idea  who they are talking about.... THIS IS  TRUE    BELIEVE IT  FOLKS

To: "Just pay your bills", I do not have any outstanding bills with anyone, so why the hell are they calling me every F'ing day?

Having spent a few years in that field I can say you have to send a cease and desist letter to stop the calls. An agency does not have to accept a verbal request.

It is RCS, they are a collection agency for IHC.  They are demanding payment within 45 days or they will report it to the credit bureau's.  Doesn't matter if you make payment arrangements with them, if you can't pay off your balance within the 45 days it will be reported and you are screwed.

I have proof the doctor bill was paid and am recording the number of times they call.Three times so far today.I am hoping to see them in court on their dime to shove it to them.

Owe tons of money to hospitals and doctors as my husband is being treated for lung cancer.I give everyone 25 dollars a month.This group refused my twenty five a month, saying they needed thewhole 235 at once. I said I was not going to not pay someone else in order to pay the whole amount to them,and they got very  nasty.They threatened me repeatedly during the call. I am doing what I can to pay everyone, but will bk before giving a dime to these scumbags.I would love to tell my story in court in front ao people to let them know what jerks they are.KEEP HARASSING ME, I AM KEEPING RECORDS. Garnish my SS scumbags .

Have been getting robot calls for years .. about riverside hospital bill , they have no copy of bill and split the bill into mulitiples $15 $35 $114 so it looks worse, even cost me refi on my house.          

For less than $1000.
  The b*****ds even took a settled amount and put the balance on their account 24 hours after . So picture this, one co says we will settle for x and you pay , the left over amount goes to these dogs. what settlement. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Keeps calling - all hours - same number - no one answers when call back Someone should disconnect this number and/or issue Cease and Desist Order.  This is annoying.

I also keep getting calls from ths 877-409-6060.  Is there any way to block these annoying calls???? They should be reported to Better Business Bureau and stopped from harrassment.  They call my cell number numerous times each week.... so they are costing ME money!  Someone please put them out of business!  This should not be legal.  Obviously they do it over and over again.... looking for some sucker to actually give in to them.

So i paid these guys 189.00 for a late bill.  1 month later i get the same bill from the actual company that turned this to collections.  I call this company (Gas Company), and they have no record of me ever paying.  I checked my cc statement and sure enough...189.00 charge on the day i called RCS.  Im ready  to snap on someone

Shows up as 800 Service on caller ID. I get at least 1 call every day, sometimes 2 calls only 10 minutes apart. The phone always rings only 4 times; never leaves a message; when I answer line is dead.

RCS, they call do not leave a message, called twice in 1/2 hour.  Will be blocking!
