It is Wells Fargo about insurance.  I have a Wachovia bank account and i suspect they are using their information to cold call folks.

I also have a Wachovia account so it's probably true. I never get a message either

Telemarketers claiming to be with Wells Fargo call from this number almost daily.  Our mortgage is with Wells Fargo and this harassment is enough to make us seriously consider refinancing with another bank!  These idiots call approx. 5 times per week (NOT an exaggeration!), usually during the day, and ask to speak to my husband whose name is on the mortgage (mine is not).  When I explain to them that he is at work because it's the middle of the day (duh), they become very rude and say they will call back.  I ask them to call in the evening. They never do.  My husband just happened to be home once when they called and he declined their offer and asked them not to call again, but the calls continue.  When I tell them we are not interested in their offer, they very curtly inform me that they can only discuss it with my husband and they will call back at another time.  I remind them that this is the 21st century and if they think that I have no influence over our financial decisions simply because my name is not on the loan, they are seriously deluding themselves.  Annoying and sexist; yeah, really makes me want to do business with them... NOT.

2 calls in last 2 days. First one my answering m/c picked up. No message. Just had a call, and no-one on other end. (We have a Wachovia account...)

I called it back and they had an option to take my name off of the solicitation.  I entered my number.  We'll see what happens.

I too called back and used the automated system to remove our number. It says allow 5 days but it could take up to 30 days to be completly removed from their system Arrgh.

These jokers are STILL calling!!! Thanks for the tip Doug S.; i called the number back and requested to be removed. Seems rediculous that it takes 30 DAYS to get off the list. Pain in the___!

more than a week since I called this number and asked to be removed.  Still calling...

I get calls from this number daily, I don't answer because I don't recognize the number.  My answer machine goes on but no message.  I don't bank with Wells Fargo or Wachovia and this is very annoying.  Especially since my husband is getting quite irritated and is threatening to cancel our phone service.

Have now received 3 calls from this number 877-415-9257. They do not leave a message. Have no idea who it is, but suspect is some telemarketer. Does anybody know?

Call from Wachovia - now wells fargo - because they are a sham and would be 6ft under if Wells Fargo did not bail them out.
Selling ADD - Accidental insurance at $1m - with a 25,000 deduct.  NOW folks, sold a little insurance in my brief career, this is the worst and you must be in an accidental automobile death. $25 per month if you do not cancel- imagine that call - giving them access to YOUR bank account and then having to prove for 6 or 7 months that you DID cancel- the banks are getting a lot more creative in finding ways into YOUR bank accounts.
Call your local wachovia branch mananger - or stop by and give them hell for giving out your information. OH- they love this, ask for the BRANCH MANAGERS number at home, so YOU can call him at 8 pm, at his house, when he says no, then ask him why he gave out YOUR phone number!

Stop Calling I'm Not Interested In Your Insurance or Your Calls

Disappointed in Wells Fargo for allowing this insurance company to call Wells Fargo customers day in and day out - This needs to stop  I've been getting these calls for over a year now and I'm not interested in their "insurance"

Someone from apparently Wells Fargo calls almost every day even though we do not have a relationship with Wells Fargo.

I've been getting calls and figured it was marketing so haven't answered.  Today I did and they asked for my son (who doesn't live here) and I told them that.  I then hung up and called back.  It is Wells Fargo and the message says that they were calling about a promotion.  Also asks that if you are not interested in the promotion, to press 1 and enter your phone number.  I did.

I've been getting calls from this number almost daily for the last 2 months. Many days we get a call in the morning and at night.  I let the recorder tell them we are not home, but they hang up before the message is complete and never leave a message. I figure if it is something important they could leave a message.

I've beeen seeing this number on my caller ID for weeks now. I just called the number and got a recording that allowed me to enter my phone number to be removed from their calling list. It can take anywhere from 5 to 30 days to be removed from the list.

Wells Fargo and Wachovia are connected now so it is probably legit.  Letit solicitation that is!

Daily calls, sometimes several a day, no one on other end of line. Tried to activate call blocking but system said number was not in service. I wish someone would start calling these people and harrassing them the way their calls are harrassing all of us who are reporting this ridiculous activity.

I also received a call from 877-415-9257 via caller id. I googled it and per my suspicions other people are getting calls from this # too.  I strongly suspect like others have commented that his is indeed a collection agency attempting to collect on a bill. Question: Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong but unless the laws have changed I thought if a bill is 7 yrs old or older your not supposed to be getting calls about it due to statute of limitations to collect on an old debt? I suspect that due to somw of the changes in the credit laws that debt collectors possibly selling old accounts to other collections agencies in order to track down individuals to pay an old bill.

I get calls from this number several times a day.  The one time I answered, they asked for my husband.  When I said he wasn't home, they simply hung up.  Now, we just let it go to voicemail, and they never leave a message.  I'm sure they're trying to sell something I don't want and don't need.

Isn't there anyone out there that can stop these LOONIE TUNES from doing this?
