Don't be so quick.. With spoofed numbers and names, you really need to verify it with your local branch office, not just accept someone's word over the phone. ROT:  Whenever a bank or business you do business with calls you, they should be able to verify your name, address, phone number and your full account to you. If they can't, they are phishing for your info! Never ever give them your info!  Be safe, be cautious..

This is a collection agency who is unwilling to disclose their client, which makes me think they are attempting to scam people. Do NOT give them any personal information! Unsafe!

I got a call from this number (877-418-2673) and it was a call from Chase bank confirming a transaction I made.

This guy has called twice already this week, the latest being 15 minutes ago.  He calls from a cell phone, # 213-5028 (no area code on caller id).  He says he has a claim against me from 877-418-2673 and I have to respond by, I don't know, cause he used some foreign language or mumbled, but after 4 listens to message I could not decipher it.  He also claims he needed to find my address.  ?????  Any legitimate company would know my address.  Who is this guy?  Does not leave any company name or any other info except this 877 number.
