The guy just called me and sounded like and attorney and he did speak about a "case" that was filed against me but i am not involved in anything so i was concerned and confused and i am glad i googled the number and saw your responses.

I said I was my sister and what was this phone call regarding and he said he couldnt release that information to me.

hmmmm... not calling back.

I got a call from this number- the message said they were calling regarding a person named Erin (I won't state the last name as that could cause a problem for another innocent person) The message said it was regarding some bad checks and to call them on behalf of the plaintiff - so I assumed it was an attorney - and they left me a gave me a case # 350565 - this is the second call, even though I have no idea who this Erin is I thought well if it's the second call I'd call them back - I just got a recording and this all seems fishy to me - their phone message said something about Northwest.  I decided to look up the number and that is how I got here.  I wont' be calling them back.

Hi annoyed was it a payday loan online? because I received a call same as yours and when asked for documents they sorta ignored my question and went right to "taking legal action if I don't start a payment plan" I have taken advanced before and mostly online but it was eventually paid off. So I'm not sure why they keep calling.

Got call from guy disguised as attorney at first, turns out he's not...out of the kindness of his heart he called to warned me of a company by the name of Norway Group 1-877-459-6691. I called the number I was referred to just to get some information and I was told it was for a Payday Loan in 2009. I became inquistitive and ask for documentation because yes I have taken advances and they were ALL paid back 3-4 times over. Needless to say the guy said documents are not in house and have to be requested but he couldn't request them. But he continued the say " We are trying to avoid going to the law, lets start a payment plan." I just explained to him it is absurd to pay for something that there is not evident of" his response.."I have your social, Dob, everything and the only way to show me valid documentation is if they file. So needless to say, I encouraged them to file. Turns out it was Norstar Cash!!! Eventhough they were conducting business illegally in California and giving a Cease and Desist Order, I paid my debt to them. But they just won't stop!!!

They left a message saying someone had filed a lawsuit against me regarding something that I have no idea about. It just didn't make any sense!
