My son got the same call. very rude, would not give name of company she was from. wanted his credit card to settle the debt that he didn't owe. she also gave 3rd party info to family member. made threatening statements.I am in collections and this is definitely a scam. I would like to file a suit against this person, if I could find out who she is.

The second message they left on my voice mail said that they would serve papers on one of my relatives and my place of employment, because I haven't responded.  They also said that they have been unsuccessful serving me papers at my home.  The last four digits of my SS# are last four digits of the claim number they gave me.  I would not respond if I were you.  I signed up for Identity Guard through Costco.  It's only $10 a month and worth every penny.  After I received the second call I looked up my credit report and the Winchester Financial Group made an inquiry to Experian on me on 2/24.  This request was not me trying to get credit somewhere.  In case anyone is interested the address listed is for their place of business:  41951 Remington Avenue, Suite 150, Temecula, CA 92590.  Of course there is no phone number.  I plan on reporting them to Identity Guard.

It's a scam. Don't call them back. I'm wondering if it is a cover up for data gatherers? Like we all answer - none of the people on this blog owe money or have pending litigation.  But they have lots of info.  Like the last 4 of ss# address relatives etc.  it's just WRONG!

Just listened to a voice mail,  caller ID came up "Unknown"  Woman leaving the voice mail sounded VERY rude and demanding.  Stated I hadn't responded to papers sent to my address and they would send them to my place of employment if I did not respond ASAP.  Said they would pursue legal action.  Seemed to have a lot of my information.  Gave me some sort of "claim" number or something.  I have not received any sort of paperwork in the mail.  Find it ironic that her message would cut out when she was leaving information.  Stated her name was "Karen Oliver" and something about an Oregon office.  I don't know, should I respond? Is there a way to stop receiving these types of calls?

These people called my mom, who at the time was in California grieving for her mother who just passed last month. They said they were from Microsoft and needed to serve me papers. Then they called my uncle who I haven't seen in 15 years. My uncle took their number. A woman by the name of Christa Johnson (because that name isn't common enough) called and told him they needed to serve me papers on pending litigations. I have none. No debt. No qualms with any company. I just called and the recording was so low in volume you can barely hear them. I didn't bother leaving a message. What a joke.

I just got off the phone with Ms. Lisa Summers and she was a b****.  She told me that I sounded like a spoiled brat because I called her out on her scamming people.  I guess they don't like that.

As with all of you I just received the same call from an individual named Archer.  I knowing that nobody I know calls me with a private number didn't answer this.  Left the same information as the above.  Pending legal matter, etc.  Nice to know my information was compromised again.  I intended to report this information to all I know as well as the correct agencies that handle these types of fraud.

Same thing happened with me!  a Crystal Johnson called my office wanting to serve me papers, I wasn't in the office at the time, my manager took down information and I called back thinking something has happened, I had no idea.  I spoke with a Lisa Summers from Winchester Group.  She was threatening and so rude to me!  Acting as if shes my mother and telling me how irresponsible I am.  she told me they were going to sue me and put a judgment against me and garnish my wages.  I asked her what this was regarding and she told me its regarding an HSBC, Master Card credit card (which I've never owned in my life) for a Department Store called HH Fresh (I googled it and it doesn't exist but H & H Fresh Fish: www.hhfreshfish.com came up). I told her that I needed to look into this because I've never heard of this before, she told me I had 24 hours to call her back otherwise I would relieve my standing and they would take further action.  Today is now the following day and she just left me a voicemail with a NO CALLER ID and she said she will take further action and wish me luck. LOL.  in the meantime, yesterday and today, I spoke with 2 different attorneys and but told me this is a scam.  I googled the Winchester Group, a medical group came up.  I googled the phone number and I came across this blog.  This is complete crap.

I had the exact same message at previous posts with that woman Penny Moore calling and leaving a message about pursuing action whether I call back or not. I did not call back because I know I had no outlying debts. These people are ridiculous. Thanks to everyone on here who posted information so that I could verify this was a scam. Hope this helps others.

A woman just left me a message from this number and said her name was Penny Moore with the Winchester office. Said here ext. was 128.  She said a complaint was filed against me that I have not responded to yet.  And that if I don't call back they will proceed with legal action against me.  Obviously I will not be calling her back.  I just feel sorry for the people who do.  One of the prior posts stated that they had the last 4 SS#'s.  My bank account and credit card  have already been involved in fraud activity in the last six months.  So they probably have all my info too.

Just called and left me a MSG. It's a scam. Don't bother calling back, all they do is use scare tactics to raise your blood pressure! Shame on them for sounding legit. Feel bad for older, unaware folks

Very rude people. Would not tell me what "debt" I owed them. I then called and asked to speak with someone else and I continued to get the same rude lady. They said I owed the bank debt and if I didn't pay it I would ne sued. She then said I threatened her because I saw I'd keep calling them to clear my name.I then asked if they could resend the "debt papers" and they hung up. Eventually they blocked my number. I just wanted to know what the debt was in regards to.

Caller identified herself stating I owe money to a bank.  She had my name, address and last 4 of ss#!  She told me bank was filing lawsuit and she needed to settle the debt within 24 hrs or the bank would go forward with lawsuit. False claim verified by bank.  Be careful!
