Sent a text message, supposedly from Bank of America. Said "Unsolicited Activity on your account. Call us immediately at 877-469-6658. Thank you."

I also got this a few minutes ago and suspect it is a scam.  I don't have a Bank of America account and doubt they would notify me of such an event over text message (instead of email or calling).

Same thing here...don't have an account with them so I'm also guessing its a scam.

My husband & I received the same txt just a few min ago.  I called BOA & they did not seem surprised & stated that this is a scam.  DO NOT respond to the txt!

Got the EXACT same text! I do NOT have an acct with BOA, so I thought it was strange I would get something like this... Googled the web address and found this site...

Total Scam, both my work cell and my personal cell got it along with my wife and her cell phone. BoA states there is nothing they can do about it and said NOT to call the number or reply to the text.

ps. I called the number before Googling it.  An awkward male voice recording comes up after a number of rings (which I thought having a lot of rings was strange for a big bank) and says that there is a lock on my account.  Then prompts me to enter my card number ... FAIL.  I immediately hung up.

Received call from my son who just got this same text from Bank of America 877-469-6658.  Thanks to this site I was able to reassure him it is a scam & he should not call the #.

By any chance, does anyone else have ATT as cell phone provider?  All 5 numbers on my plan received this text so I am a bit concerned.
