called and said they would lower my credit intrest and save me at least 2700 have not been able to reach this number alway mailbox "full" charged my credit card $1500 wont refund total scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call Labor Day weekend of 2008 from American Equity Solutions.  I spoke with Ashley Wilkes, who gave me her employee number (06402).  I was then passed on to Roger Bass.  I fell for their scam, hoping to receive assistance with reduction of my credit card payments through reduction of my interest rates.  Ultimately I provided my credit card number to purchase their assistance...to the tune of $1,498.62.  I am sick to my stomach and feeling stupid.  I'm an educated woman and I fell for this scam.

I have also been taken for a grand from this scam and am finally realizing why I have received no service and am unable to reach them.  I have received info in the mail about American Equity Services and it states they are in college park, MD.  The Number I have is 1-877-470-0613, they have actually picked up the phone once in 2 months and after i explained to them what was happening, was hung up on never to get them back on the phone.  Is there no legal action we can take against this kind of fraud??!!

Almost $1200, joined in august and never get the service, tried several times to contact the office and nothing.  Searching, I found it this company has being revoked with their license.  I don't know how will I get my money back.  Be aware of american equity services, they are a totally fraud.

Rober Bass was very personable and he gave me excellent solutions and he took me for a ride I can't get my money back.. which is 2000.- please do not fall for this like I did. they send me paper work ect. I kept trying to reach them and there is no room in their message system. I have been taken I hope no one else will, I changed the credit card that I pay them with (I like to shoot myself now) please please do not believe these people.
I don't know if they can steal my Identity. any suggestions??

Me again........I actually got the paperwork in the mail and the information says there address is in Maitland, FL and no one has ever heard of them.  I also called several financial advisors in the Maitland area.  No one has heard of them.  I even had someone check the phone book down there.

I did receive a call and fell for it  and could become a victim of fraud.  I have cancelled my credit cards. however they did charge me $998.  I am unable to get a hold of anyone live and am very angry.  They are not located on the BBB or anywhere for that matter. American Equity Services is a scam.  If you are contacted by "Sally Rogers"  or "Roger Bass"  Do not give them any of your information.  Now I worry about identity theft.  Any suggestions?

On 9/8/08 I received a call from a lady "Sally Rogers," who stated that she was calling on behalf of Card Services and that she could reduce my monthly payments on my credit cards by reducing my interest rate. She then requested my credit card account numbers before even formerly stating who she was affiliated with, who she was or where the company was located. After keeping me on the phone for approximately 30-40 minutes she finally provided me with her name, location( Kempe, Arizona?) and phone number where I could reach her. She then told me that there was a one time only fee of $790! I told her I wasn't interested bc for one I was sick and two I would much rather receive the information in the mail. She then put her so called "financial analyst" on the phone who was very persistent and rude. He told me that they are really doing me a favor and helping me out b/c they would reduce my monthly payments and so on....He was by no means professional at all and kept interrupting me, I even called him out on that and he was like "No, you are interrupting me!"I was so tired at that point that I  told him that I was definitely not interested and told him that I was done talking to him. Then he rudely replied, "No, if you were done talking to me you would have hung up by now!"

After receiving this call I called the number back and the girl who answered told me she was affiliated with American Equity Services. The whole thing seemed very fishy. Don't let these people waste your time or your money!
