I was taken for this same motorcycle advertisement.  Have you been able to get any info on who is behind this?  Did you wire money to the Beneficiary named Alfonzo ross Sparks in Royal Oak. MI?  Is this also a false name?  I looked up the name on facebook and found a close match of alonzo ross sparks.  I can only imagine how much money these people have made on this scam.  Its unreal and why is nothing being done to catch them.  I just thought we might be able to help each other out.  I was scammed on Aug 16. It sucks dosent it.

Hi, we weren't so lucky but I am working with police.  Did you happen to get the wire transfer info?  I'm trying to link it to a certain bank because I have 2 wire transfer info sheets and they are both from Wells Fargo.  Please email me at dungan2u@msn.com with info that may help police.  Thanks!

Almost had me... 1995 Crownline 202 Lpx boat listed in Peoria, Illinois Cragislist. Several email exchanges (sounded too good to be true at $3350) and than she had an "Amazon" invoice sent to me that is identical to "L" post on 08/22/12. However, the phone number that is being used is 1-877-717-6977, when called I received an answering service saying the "office is now closed". But it provides office hours indicating the office should be open, with pacific time. Topeka, Kansas is not in the PST time zone...Ha! Also, Kathleen Taylor also provided her phone number as (785) 260-6736, and more scams are listed on the internet!!!

Melissa R Carlson had a craigslist posting in Alb NM. I called this number and an arab or hindu male called me back for 206-734-4694 claiming to be an Amazon csr.  This is a scam ring of several working together.  Why cant it be taken down?  It seems to be going strong without any worry about the law coming after them.  I just dont get it.  Are these people smarter than the Federal Government?

Yep, she was selling a Key West Boat for $3450.00. said she got it from her divorce and didn't want it so she was selling it real cheap. After several e-mails she sent me her phone number. Called her and she had a heavy accent. Didn't know much about the boat. Decided to check it out and followed through like I was going to buy the boat. Same as all the rest. Wanted me to wire transfer funds to a Wells Fargo Account listing the account number and routing number. There was no way in hell I was going to do that. After googling the number, all the scams showed up. It it is too good to be true then it is just too good to be true. You just can't be to careful anymore. Sure saved myself my money. Could have been a bad day though.

Omg im glad i looked this phone number up i got the same emails. However they used a different name. When i called the number it was a Hindu lady that answered. Then a man, then they blocked my number. This is the last email i got from them. I looked up the vin number and some lady just sold this the other day on ebay for 15500. Not the 3800 they are asking for on craigslist.

Someone just posted a comment on one of my Squidoo lenses about this, including the text of the message from "Amazon." The message had this phone # so I did a search and found this site.

PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T SEND THIS PERSON ANY MONEY. In fact, NEVER WIRE MONEY TO ANYONE CLAIMING TO SELL AN RV OR AUTO. If you can't look at the vehicle/RV in person, maybe because it's (supposedly) out of town, then tell the seller you want to have a local service check it out; there are quite a few that do that. Yes, there's a charge, but even if you don't plan on going through with the checkup it's a good way to test if the sale is legitimate - if the seller won't agree to it then something is really wrong. Either the thing doesn't exist or it's in really bad shape and they don't want you to find out.

I have 4 lenses (web pages) set up about this kind of thing and it's way too much detail to go into here so I've just put in the most important part. If you want more info please go to http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/Ih8scammers (if this link disappears just Google "Squidoo" and "ih8scammers"). It has links to all the pages and you can leave comments if you like.

I cannot believe I almost fell for this. Looked at a "2006 Gold wing Trike for $4300." Googled this "Amazon" phone number and found these messages. Wire transfer cancelled. Reported to Amazon, and to Internet Crimes. Tried contacting Bank of America account (wire transfer was to be to Alberto M. Trujillo, Account 164105222849, 8844 Cypress Ave, Cypress, CA 90630, at Bank of America, Routing 026009593 at 8955 Valley View St., Buena Park, CA 90620), but BofA could care less.

Google Melissa R. Carlson and you will see her mugshot from her latest arrest.  The 877-477-9451 number is to a fake Amazon Flexible Payment Service front.   I called the Real Amazon which knew nothing about that number--as its all a front.  Amazon has copies of the fake amazon invoices.   Call the fake number from another phone as they have your number "blocked".

She tried selling me a 2002 Honda gold wing that did not exist (according to Honda Motor Company) via a ad on Fort Wayne Craig's list.  The bi*** is good--she almost got me.  She used the address 2600 SE Virginia Av, Topeka KS  66605 which is probably fake.

This has to be one stupid w***e to use her real name.  I can not understand why law enforcement allows these people to operate.  The skank belongs in federal prison.

melissa.r.carlson@msn.com the person behind this email address has scammed me for several thousand dollars on an RV sale from Craigs List. This phone number 877-477-9454 will not answer my calls when I inquire about the sale. I get a recorded message saying the person is not available at this time.
