These jack***es keep calling my son's cell phone. He's 12. Pretty sure they aren't calling for him but since they won't say anything when they call, it's hard to set them straight.

If you have a smartphone, look for an app called "Cal Control." You can blacklist numbers and they won't ring or bother you. If you pay for the app, it ties to a huge database of blacklisted numbers. It's GREAT!

They call several times a day, early morning and late at night. They never leave a message, I'm on a NO CALL LIST and I still get telemarketers calling all the time. It says on here that it is a debt collector, I pay all my bills, and on time. I should have NO debt collectors calling me.

they call repeatedly, every day of the week, every and any hour of the day, its been 2 yrs now. WTF?
What the hell do they want?  Anyways. Who cares, now I get worried, they been calling less and less
maybe its time to stop calling that dead, unclaimed cell phone number they keep calling, the account is about to close out on its own, but they are the only and 1 caller, taking up the minutes, ... its like they have no life or maybe they are in life prisons... who care about them... its so stupid to complain, nobody cares, well, i think its really the phone company's new gig, in order to get peoples money, ya know, so they change their phone numbers, and pay more to get a new number... what ever it is... its stupid, to say the least.

I'm still getting calls from this number on a daily basis, sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. They don't leave messages any more, only rings 3 times then they hang up...My voice mail picks up after the 3rd ring and I think they know this now, so that could be why I'm not getting messages and why they hang up after the 3rd ring... but who knows.....

Calls - hangs up. Daily Service- ha... They have no life. No Collector wants to recoup their money if they hire incompetent employees like that.. by time they get a 'hit' and collect any moola, they be broke after paying the incompetent employee that uses the automation service to call and do hang ups all day long.  It's dumb. What can be done about it?  It goes on forever, we complain, they get to do it. We need competent phone service providers.  Don't ya just think, its some person sitting / locked up/ w/ nothin to do but dial out to the world/ just for the hell of irritating people ! hummmmm..... !

They keep calling my cell phone. I don't answer, hoping they will let it go to voicemail...no luck...wish there was a way I could block the number on my cell!

These a***s call my home every single day at least once a day.  They are NOT looking for myself or my husband as no one, not even family have our unlisted/unpublished number.  These people are always looking for the 2 people prior to myself that had this number.  They refuse to listen when I tell them that I'm not Paula or Latoya.  So freaking sick of it and sick of them!  My husband sleeps during the day and their constant calling wakes him up and pisses me off!  So sick of them not listening to me and continuing to harass me and my family.

I am pretty sure that once you tell them not to call they have to stop.

Just received a call from this number, normally I do not answer #'s I don't know especially ones like this. But today I did and nobody said a word, but I thought I cold hear someone breathing very faintly in the back round...

I have told these people I am not interested and they continue to call me several times a day. I have told them to remove my number and they have not.

I received a call today from this number asking for my late husbands first wife. When I informed them of that the operator asks me if I am still single or have I remarried, 4 times... each time I said I didn't see what concern of theirs that was and then asked them the name of the company which the operator refused to give me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the call ended. Now, I'm not one to just shrug and walk away from anything... I called them back, asked the name of the company again which was again refused. I asked again to speak to a supervisor and someone else (also with very bad english and hard to understand) answers refuses to give the company name again. I ask how his operator can ask me personal information but I am not entitled to know the name of his BUSINESS. The call ended abruptly. I then called my late husbands first wife and shared the information with her since we do still talk. :)

I have been receiving daily calls from this number. It is becoming a harassment and I'am on the do not call list.  I will take legal action if I have to.

I had gotten many calls from this phone number, yet they never left a message.  I answered the phone and spoke to a rep who spoke broken english (possibly from india) who was looking for someone with a name I could not pronounce.  I bullied them into giving me thier company information, which was hard to get. While I had them on the phone I was discussing the subject of recieving many calls with no messages left (In order to keep them busy while researching them) I found many negative reports such as http://www.ripoffreport.com/directory/allied-interstate.aspx and confronted them I found they are walking all over the FDCPA Laws, and have even been fined heavily for thier actions. While I was researching them I got a supervisor on the phone who also spoke broken english, I demanded to be removed from thier call list and advised them if I recieve any further calls I will take legal action based on thier history.  The supervisor asked "What history" I advised them of all of the negative and illegal activities thier company engages in and he started back peddling, then said I will receive no further calls.  I stated another time that if I receive any further calls I will pursue legal action (I was previously employed as a Fraud Investigator with a well known bank) I love to go after companies like this.

Not true any longer. That's old school thinking. I have a small business with two toll-free lines with a virtual (cloud-based) PBX company. I pay an extra $5 per month for UNLIMITED inbound and outbound calling on my toll-free lines. I guarantee you it is not hurting them in the least....no matter how many times they call.

This company cannot supply you with a phone number or address from the company they are collecting for.  If they were legitimate they would be able to supply this information plus they should be able to send you copies of an invoice or invoices that were sent to you which they cannot do.  Beware of this company!  They are not a legitimate collection company.

I am receiving numerous daily calls from 877-488-6434. No message left.  These come at all hours. I am no the do not call list.

Keeps calling never leaves a message or answers when I pick up, not to mention the call my cell, my husbands and my house phone... Not to mention they call all hours of the day...

Any toll free (800,888,866,877,etc) # is charged a surcharge (usually 50 cents) for EVERY call they answer which is made from a (public) payphone.  Isn't it wonderful when someone keeps calling you, then hanging up.  What goes around, comes around

Did it work? I've had the same problem for months, freaking people call, don't speak english and don't leave voicemail. I've asked to be taken off the list 50 times and they still are calling everyday. How can I get them to stop!? I have perfect credit and never subscribed to any books or anything. So fustrated!!!!

Called the number, Alley or Allied Interstate answered, broken english, looking for a Johnny something and told them I have had this number for my business for over 20yrs and I am the only one working here and there has been noone by that name ever.  They said sorry for the call and they will remove me from their list.  Snowball in he.. that will happen.

Received a call from this number - 877-488-6434 and they were looking for someone that does not live here or know. The person on the other end spoke with a thick foreign accent that you could hardly understand.

Ally Interstate is a collection agency.  They deal with subscriptions, books, magazines, etc.  When I finally talked to them it for a bill that had been paid months ago.  I was told to take it up with the original creditor.  Told them not to call me again and was informed they have the right to contact me as it is an attempt to collect a debt.

They called twice and never left message.  I am on the do not call list.  God do I hate annoying calls.

Just received the same call...  about every hour..   when I call it sounds more like  Ally Interstate...
