Not understanding how I am being called at all!!! I have signed up on the DO NOT CALL registry. Not up to me to remove my number from your list, have had at least 4 calls within last 5 days. One more and I will report as a company not following the rules.

That really doesn't work. All you are doing is exceeding the amount of time left for the answering machine. The inbound line is not connect to the auto dialer in anyway. You are calling in to a hard line where we dial out on VOIP.  If you want your number removed, Pleas just leave a message with your number on the incomming line. It is checked daily and DNC request added. If you like you can even request a call back from supervisor to verify that your number has been added correctly.

Another option you can email myself directly with any DNC request.

I don't have caller ID on my home phone so I usually verify whose calling before I take any action. Would your method work if there was an operator talking? I'll try anything to put an end to this.

they called my house and a girl left a message saying

They called March 4th and 5th. Didn't leave a message. I called them back and it's a female voice on their answering machine. It comes up as Peak Windows on my caller display.

With telemarketers, when you answer the phone...press the number 9 (many times) quickly, for maybe 30 - 50 times and it will bump your phone number out of their computer system....you will get a busy signal = successful. Hopefully, I will be home when they call next time, and I get to bump another one out. My phone has been VERY quietly lately, because I've used this technique many times.

Have been getting lots of calls from this number, shows up as Peak Windows on call display. Their website looks like a scam. I asked the guy tonight to take me off his call list. I told him that his number was assiciated with a scam company known as GSW, he hung up. Next time he calls, I'm going to blast "Super Massive Black Hole" by Muse into his ear:)

I get calls from them all the time. Call display says it's "Peak Windows". Tonight I talked to the guy and told him I wanted to be taken off their call list. He tried to talk to me about windows so when I asked him why his number was associated with Ontario GSW which is documented and reported as a scam business, he hung up. Next time they call, I'm going to blast heavy metal music in his ear at full volume:)

Got a Call from this telemarketing agency. Selling Windows and Doors.  I changed my phone to a Cellular so I could put them as a Blocked call and set the ring to silent. Does not bother me anymore. as soon as they call ONCE I put them in my contact list and rinse and repeat.

Told me they had a special on windows of 50% off if I signed the paper work before the end of the month and they would install in the spring.   Said they were calling from London.  I stupidly set up an appointment.C6H9.  The pone number was 877-489-2135.

"Peak" windows, AKA "Everest" windows, AKA "GreenShield" windows, is in fact a subsidiary company of EuroSeal windows and Doors, although they deny any affiliation with any other companies. They are a company known for it's shoddy workmanship, inflated prices, and unscrupulous sales tactics, especially telemarketing calls which violate the CRTC's rules for outbound sales calls.

I used to work for these f***ers. My advice: DON'T. You WILL be screwed around, out of hours, offered no benefits, and classed as a "subcontractor" (meaning they don't have to pay taxes or benefits and can let you go at anytime for any reason). They offer net to no training or coaching, and still demand a certain volume of results each night or your shifts will be cut to next to nothing. On calls, it is encouraged to be loud, obnoxious, and borderline rudely persistant to customers. Calls also seem to violate the CRTC's rules for outbound telemarketing calls. Management changes frequently, and new management has no respect for employees that have been there for longer or for methods that actually attempt to HELP a customer. There is NO opportunity for advancement. My advice, Students looking for a summer job, DON'T fall for GreenShield's propoganda. They will try to dupe highschool students into signing on to thier corrupt organization. And let's not forget the nasty little suprises, like not properly scrubbing the list against the national DO NOT CALL list. Or calling back customers that have been "lost" from another phone line pretending to be some fictitious "Everest" windows.

And they really do terrible workmanship on customers for extremely inflated prices.

This number - 877-489-2135 - comes up on my call display as Peak Windows.  I checked online and cannot find Peak Windows.  There was a Peak Windows and Doors - but they closed down over a year ago.  So I am assuming that this is a scam.

Ontario GSW has called my number twice in two days. I have no idea who they are,and they don't leave a message. Probably some loser trying to scam, or looking for handouts. Don't get sucked in! If they can't leave a message, they are not worthy of our precious time.

Always get calls from 1(877) 489-2135.  They never leave a voice mail.   I was thinking it was a Ontario Government number and I am on ODSP, so was worried something was wrong.   Checked here and found out they are Telemarketer.   Not worried now, just a little mad.   They should leave a voice mail, so that the people who want their service can call them back.   Otherwise I wish they would stop calling.

these people will not stop calling. they ask for donations of clothing and ask if they can pick it up now or asap. i have told them not to call.  to stop calling. they just don't stop. they even call late at night-almost 10pm was the latest.

Got a call from ontario gsw who asked for my sister. When I said she was sleeping, they hung up on me. OOOOOO! I so wish they'd call again so I can razz them ... hehe.

BTW beware of new scam: supposedly you'll get an email or phone call saying there is a contract out on you and a hitman will be sent to deal with you. If you want the 'contract' terminated then pay up! It's a scam, don't let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise. It's already being reported across newspapers and other media to warn people.

Received a call from this number last week. The man asked me about duct cleaning services. When I told him that I rent and cannot use their service he said "you have a really nice voice. Do you mind if I call you on my personal number?" I told him no. He said "why not?" So I told him to call back and talk to my husband and he'll tell him why. Then I called him a creep and hung up.

I just got a call from a man from greenshield who knew my name.When I told him I was her he then said he was from greenshield windows and doors. I told him that i was not interested and hung up.Our health insurance is from greeshield did not know there was another company with that name.I thought I was talking to our health insurer.How did he get my name and phone number?
