I have been receiving 5 to 6 calls daily for the last few days and before then less often. Caller ID list "Unknown Name" No message is left. This is getting extremely annoying and I will never answer calls that do not identify themselves.

Obviously this calling is working for them, as they have been doing it for a while. If it's profitable, obviously some people are buying, right? And anyone with a brain and ears will understand the price and what taxes and surcharges means, so you shouldn't expect it to be the exact price they quote. Dumbass.

And stop confusing "working" with SCAMMING and ANNOYING HONEST PEOPLE FOR A LIVING! It's not the same thing. The honest people you are calling have real jobs, maybe you should try getting a real job too (if you can).

I phone solicit on behalf of Frontier Communications.
We are provided two programs:
Spot (the program to see packages, etc. Formerly a Verizon program)
Liberation (automatic dialer, script and order program. It's honestly a piece of s***, next to no information on it on the internet)
Liberation's major fault is that it has a lag problem with it's automatic dialing (sometimes minimal, sometimes severe) in which the time we hear the beep (the indicator that there is a person now on the line) you may have said hello a couple times. Most people don't stick around on the phone long enough, so next time you see this number, give it a moment before hanging up.
Another thing, most of the solicitation calls for Frontier aren't actually FROM Frontier, as they hire many companies, including the one I work for, to make these calls for them. We call about getting people a better value for their phone, internet and/or television services by bundling or some promotions or new plans (sometimes it's honestly better, though not usually)
Also, Spot shows us what packages you have and those packages only. If you have, for example, the basic telephone like, it will show no existing packages, only that you are an existing customer. We have to ask about calling features, long distance, etc. because the program doesn't display anything about them unless they are included in one of the packages we have to offer.

We get this too and it is getting very very annoying. There was another Frontier number that kept calling, I called the number and asked who they were and explained that it would only ring once or twice and then no one was there if we did catch it.
No sooner had I done that and asked them not to call, when I got a no number call from some "older lady" feeding back the EXACT lines and words I had told to the Frontier group. It was a concern for me because "she" said she was getting the calls from our number.
However, a couple of guys in the background burst out laughing when the "woman" said something and I realized it was a phone call from the workers there at the Frontier company.
This is outrageous and I should do something, but - they have our information and address and I am not very secure in doing more about it. This is harrassment and more from the mentioned company.
I for one, am afraid of them.

Called # to complain right away got a nice woman who said I would be placed on thier do not call list.
Will keep my fingers crossed but if they call again I WILL drop the land line.

Get calls from this number several times per week. It stopped for about a week and started up again on Sunday. One time, said it was Frontier, called it back today and all it said was 'This mailbox is full, please call again at a later date'. ?????????????????????/WTF! Sounds like an auto-dialer when it hangs up, never leaves a message, probably won't bother to report it to Frontier, seeing as how everyone else who has done so has had no luck in resolving the stupidity of this company. Can't wait for the day when I can get rid of the landline and be done with the ignorance.

They said they were from Frontier and wanted to survey my satisfaction, however she started asking me what features I had.... and I replied with "you should already have that information"... she thanked me and quickly ended the call.

Saw this number on my caller ID several times, I called it back and they said that Verizon Telephone service had switched to Frontier Communications and was calling me to make sure i was getting the best deal. I must say i stay pretty busy in my day to day life and did not realise they switched. I told Frontier i was not interested in changing anything because the current setup was working fine, I am not a huge telephone person anyways and it would not matter if i did not have one. To be safe i called Verizon and was not able to get through to anybody but the recording did say that Carriers were switched as instructed by Frontier Communications.. So whatever.
They must be calling for a reason other then " making sure we are getting the best deal" or else they would not be calling. With the way the world works today, a big company would not be calling to try and save you money, that would mean they would be losing money.. comon now. With the economy, housing market crash, Teaser rates, hidden fees, ect... it's probably not a good idea to change anything if your current setup is working.
I also asked the Woman from Frontier Communications if she could send me paperwork on the deal she was speaking about because i like to see it in black and white, and she hemhod around and said "well i can explain everything over the phone, a paper cannot talk back to you" So something is up i'm sure. I don't really trust anyone these days. This does not Constitute as telemarketers because because we have an account with them. Still i will stay where i am for now.

since frontier communications took over from verizon we have recieved over 150 hangup calls from 8774991583. we have contacted frontier customer services six times. WEeven called their main cs number 8774628188. all promised that we would get NO more calls.We have all of the tracking numbers. The calls keep coming.

I'm pretty sure that this is actually a telemarketing call on behalf of Frontier. I recieved a call from them asking about my service and then tried to push me into upgrading me service. Would not take no for an answer. I finally had to hang up on them.

Hello -
Just called Frontier Communication about this number and there is a case and agent tracking this number. Call 877-462-8188 and ask for Repairs and ask for Agent Lela at 21102. She is out of Wisconsin and is aware of this number as well as her Supervisor. It's an auto dialer and you can have your number added to the list so it will stop.
They were VERY helpful.
