If you do call, be prepared to be yelled at, and not even given an opportunity to speak at that. They just want a payment but dont want to provide any information as to what exactly its for or how much or even proof that they are legit

I received a call from a Colin Powell from NCS 1-877-563-8684, he left messages on my phone, my husbands phone and my sisters phone.  I haven't talked to anyone yet there.  Kinda afraid to after reading these reviews.

I also just recieved a call from these people, person I spoke to was a (Brenda Jones, who sounded a lot like Ian Clark who left the inital voicemail!! fishy) When I called to find out what the issues was for, they explained, and as I started to tell them about WHY the payment has taken so long and that it would be taken care of, Miss. Jones proceeded to YELL at me that my issue was none of her concern, at that point in a firm tone I stated "Ma'am if you would let me finish what I'm trying to......." to which i was interuppted with a Ms. J, I DO NOT CARE!! YOU MUST PAY THIS BALANCE TODAY OR YOU WILL HAVE A WARRANT OUT FOR YOUR ARREST!!" then she hung up. I called back requested to speak to someone else to which I got a "If you dont lose your attitude, I will hang the line right now." My reply, Ma'am if you would let me explain to you what's going on, I can make an arrangement to pay the balance due, but right now there is absolutely NO WAY that I can do anything on this today." Her response was that they would put my case into "Refusal" which is bs as I'm not refusing, I just CAN NOT do anything about it right now, and hung up the phone on me.

So, I guess I'll see what plays out, but whoever it is that's in charge needs to have a discussion with their employees because next time I WONT be nice.

Same thing.  Received a call from an Agent Mills regarding some "case" I'm not involved in and another person.  They asked me if I was a supervisor and threatened litigation.   Agent Mills was yelling on the phone.  I had to hang up on her.

An Agent Mills called my ex-husband and told him that I am facing serious charges and thy have been unable to reach me. The person left a reference number. I have not received anything in the mail and I do not trust unsolicited calls. There is no information except for complaints about this number.

Pretty much having the EXACT same problem.  They call and demand a lot, but never provide any proof.  This has been ongoing for me for about 6 months.  They have called and left messages with at least 5 other family members......  But I refuse to pay them a dime until they provide me with appropriate documentation, which they can not do.  I have been a victim of fraud about a year or two ago and I definately think this is related.'

My grandmother received a call from this company and said it was a private investigator looking for me and that if I did not contact them by end of day today, the local authorities would find me to take care of the issue., She called me and I called them. They stated the name of the company was NCS (and that they were attorneys) and they trying to collect a debt of over 1000 from a payday loan (that I cant remember taking out by the way) and if I didn't pay 300 within the hour the local authorities would be called to take care of the situation. I called them back and paid the 300 before I thought it through. When they told me I had until 5pm today to come up with the additional 740 dollars owed, I hung up and thought for a few minutes. Then I called the FTC and local police. The police called fraud and informed me they cannot arrest someone for unpaid debt, and the FTC said the same thing along with a lot of other laws they had violated as well as my rights as a consumer for certain information in writing. I called them back and asked for a physical address to send a request for original debt and professional license # etc. They refused to give any over the phone, gave me a PO box to send a letter to, and sent an email with "Validation of Debt" with a website (nationwidecredit.biz) that has not even been set up yet. They also gave me the company name of NCS. No Inc or Co or LLC... not an acronym for anything else. Just NCS.

Has anyone else had similar run ins with these people?
