Been receiving numerous calls every day.  An Indian man says he is from MicroSoft Support.  He was allowed access to my computer, went through the computer and then afterwards i could not even sign on to my computer.  I had to send it to a repair center to erase the whole hard drive and have my programs reinstalled.

I have to question this as well. I recently got a similar email , supposedly from Twitter, stating that I needed to change my password because account activity suggested my account had been hacked. I promptly shut the account down.

Yahoo accounts do frequently get hacked, but I've never known them to call users about it. My suggestion is that you sign in directly from Yahoo's website and change your passwords.

Were they legitimately from Yahoo?  Since when did they start calling free email users if they were hacked & how would they know?

Got a call from this number.  They said they were from Yahoo and that my email account had been hacked into.  Wanted access to my computer so they could resolve the issue.

Yep..A threat! Calling family members for a fraud check!! they pretend they are the police officers,or lawyers! If they are lawyers,why they are harassing people. That is illegal! And to pretend that they are police officers is even worse. ..They should be investigated and penalized. Can someone call the consumer's office? or there has to be a law against.

They called family members about a bad check. I think its fraud because i've had the same checking acct for 10 years.  They've never personally called me (my phone # is on my checks)???????  They need to be reoprted!!!!!!

These people are calling my family members and leaving personal information on their voice mail  !

Said I had a fraudulent check complaint. But I don't write check?
