While I don't like AT&T that much their call blocking feature works great.  Each time Wells Fargo (did you see they were downgraded yesterday?  Very appropriate) calls I just add the number to a call blocking list - I still have almost fifteen more I can block so they will never get through as I never answer any call that my caller ID shows as 'TOLL FREE' "UNKNOWN NUMBER" "PRIVATE NUMBER".   Wells Fargo is the suckiest of the sucky banks on this planet.

sorry to inform you folks but the numbers from well fargo finance is legit. they are looking for their customers, who have not made their payment. past due, is past due 1 day or 100 days. when you call back we hope it is our customer returning our call. sometimes the number no longer belongs to the customer, and the number is removed. as for reference info given, that may have been given false info, in order to gain credit in the 1st place. some accoutns are joint, and parties screen calls for each other, and the rep on other line may choose not to give, or state they will call back. as for hanging up on you, that is something that should not be happening, but unfortunatly tha does happen. sorry for the inconveince.

this phone number calls my house everyday and asks for a person who does not (nor has not) lived at this address.  They refuse to believe me and have abusively insisted I am lying and they continue to harrass us by asking for a person who does not exist in this household.  They have been told by the two adult residents in this home to stop calling as the person they are looking for is not at this address and they have not done so.

got a page after a 408 area code number called.  Page came in as 1888775615724377.  Guess it's time to change my number.

Telemarketer calls twice a day. Morning and evening calls. Sometimes leaves a message but they always use unknown names as a contact that they want to talk too? I have contacted Wells Fargo to report this annoyance (in case it is their third party marketing) which they said will take 30 days to update. Well, it has not been resolved.

I just received this cell phone number and I have never had any dealings with the person that called so why are they calling me?

OK.  This # is a scam.  I talked to them last week after they left me a bunch of messages. I don't even have a car loan.  They asked for my SS#.  I am so happy I did not give it to them.  Told them to stop calling me as I do not have a car loan now or ever with them.  Since last week, they have called 2 more times. Tomorrow morning, I will be calling Wells Fargo to complain about this practice.  Lucky for me the # they are calling me on is a number only used for a security system.  Now time to turn off the phone portion so I stop getting these calls. Please if you get a call from this # or anyone else calling about Wells Fargo Auto Finance, call Wells Fargo back ASAP to complain.  This all happened once I turned off my unlisted # through AT&T.  All the calls I get is from scam artists like this company.

Was called by wellsfargo collections was 33 days overdue, made arrangements with an account manager to get the payment in before the end of the month, the sevice people keep calling and harassing us day and night, when we spoke with them they were rude,smart assed people. Watch your temper because they arent controlling thiers.

THIS NUMBER CALLED ME SUNDAY AUG 2ND A RASPY MAN NAMED DAVE HALL. CALLED ME ASKING ME IF I MADE A PAYMENT. I TOLD THE MAN YES I DID AND THEN HE ASKED ME "WHERE IS YOUR CAR PARKED AT!!!!?" ..VERY RUDE!!!! I DIDNT SAYANYTHING TO HIM I JUST SIMPLY LAUGHED AND THEN HE HUNG UP... WHAT A**HOLES... SO BEWARE OF THAT MAN DAVE HALL....

I keep getting phone calls from this number claiming that they are with Wells Fargo -- and they are.  I called the online fraud customer service number for Wells Fargo and spoke to a really nice lady.  I told her I don't even have an account with Wells Fargo.  She took care of everything.  She contacted the auto finance department and had my number removed from their system.

I love my job as a receptionist... until these kinds of calls come in. Our employees innocently enough put down their work number on loans and such, not knowing that these @ssholes call me ALL OF THE TIME. I don't know anyones situations at home, and dont care to. But what I do know is this... You cant keep calling someones place of business. But there is nothing I can do. I have asked repeatedly to have this number taken off of their list... and that's when someone is actually on the other end of the call. Thank god we got caller id... now I can at least ignore many of them!

I will never do business with Wells Fargo again either.  Very frustrating.  Made a late payment once and now we get reminder calls even after a payment has just been made.  They suck.  We asked to change the due date to a more convenient date and they refused.  Not helpful at all.  Calls from "James" as well as automated calls.  1-888-775-6157 and 1-800-565-2310

A couple years ago a computer glitch removed $4,000 from my Wells Fargo account..they would not admit the error, or, put the money back.  I sued and prevailed with no admission of guilt from Wells Fargo.  Last year I had a slight stroke and was in the hospital for two days.  When I got home Wells Fargo had started calling my phone 6 to 8 times daily because I had not been able to get to the bank and deposit car payment money.  I called them and explained I will mail in the 2 day late payment when I am able to get to the bank and to please stop calling because the calls cause me extra stress I did not need at that time.  The calls did not stop.  I had the number disconnected and changed to a private number.  Wells Fargo than got my Fax number and started calling it 6 to 8 times daily.  This phone does not ring, it just automatically goes into Fax mode.  I made my payment that was late, and was asked to provide a number they can call me on..I told them no freakin way, "you didn't care about my situation, so now, I don't care about YOU". So now I am getting the 6 to 8 calls a day on my fax number for a reason I do not know why..my payment is not behind..and I only have 5 more months and I will be free of them.  DO NOT finance your car with these people, they will hound you to death..so Wells...my Fax sound will all you ever hear from me until we are done..FOREVER....

Wells fargo is continuing to call right at 8am all day and night, weekends and over and over.  I am behind but I keep trying to deal with this and catch up but they make it difficult.  Each person gives a different amount and I make arrangements with one person but then 20 other people call and are so damn rude.  I don't even want to talk to them because of how they treat me on the phone.  I want to get them off my back.

I Have a loan with wellsfargo finance but I have told them when I will be making the pmt s and they still call 7 to 9 times every day this is harassment and I am contacting a lawer on this issue

I don't think it is a scam.  I am behind payments, and I think that is why they are calling.

This number has been calling my work non-stop for the past few days.  Weird thing is, I work for a State Govt. Agency and this number is unlisted.  I have no idea how they got this number.....thankfully I have caller ID and don't answer when I see it.  The only thing I can think of is perhaps a co-worker of mine gave this number to someone and that's how these scammers got ahold of it?
Either way, it's really annoying

Actually No you cant, Thats called harassment and they can get YOU into trouble, and they Prolly called 9 times a day cuz its prolly on a Dialer. Make the payment/or make arrangements and shut up, A Car isnt FREE, Take Responsibility and your effing Bills, Sir

Hassrassing phone calls

Continual calls, starting just after 8:00 a.m.  Have stopped answering because when I do answer and tell them the party they are calling does not live here and the other party is not available at this number, it is my private phone, it doesn't stop them.  I have had 7 calls in one day, ending around 9 p.m.  It continues even on weekends.  480-337-2900 is another number received from this company.  How do you stop them?  They have talked with the persons they are calling numerous times but this does not resolve the harassment calls.
