BEWARE OF VISTA-PRINT! I placed two orders several months apart for inexpensive business cards, signs etc.  About two months after the final purchase, I had two strange charges for 14.95 each. One from ShoppingEssentials and the other from VistaPrintRewards. I called Vista Print immediately and they agreed to refund the money.  I will not be using them again, after ready about some many others who have experienced similar problems.

Ordered business cards from Vista Print, and the next thing I know, I have 4 charges for $14.95. Business Max, Todays Escapes and Shopping Essentials. I called the number and the hold message indicates that it is a membership fee. So I played like I had a membership, had them look up my "account", to which they said I had an account with them, but the other companies were not thiers. One mention of the Better Business Bureau, and they did not even need my credit card number to credit. ..."all three charges will be reversed."
Thanks and so-long Vista print!

I also have been ripped off 3 times by this company! Three charges of $14.95!!! I was shocked. I called the number and had them cancel the supposed membership I'd signed up for. No idea I even had it. I was told by Eric, that was the guy I talked to, that my three charges would be refunded. We'll see if it actually happens. I've gotten a new card since this and am waiting to see a change in my bank statement. Warn everyone you know! A major scam here, I can't believe they do this!!!

this was the description after a charge that shouldnt have been there, but I did agree to be a member of the vista print "club" and actually emailed them just after i received my order and said i wanted to cancel the membership, and received confirmation of the cancellation.  after still receiving the charge, 10 days after the confirmation of cancellation, I called unhappily and they said a refund was processing.  so, just about a SCAM, so thanks to this site I figured out quickly where to go for the refund!  thanks!

VistaPrint actually signed me up with two mysterious memberships I am totally unware of! TWO! one is Max Shopping, the other is something Central, each cost me $14.95.

When I called them, they didn't seem surprised at all. They're probably inundated by angry callers to cancel the membership. What a scam! I want to report it to BBB and consumer report and shut them down!

A month ago,I ordered/recieved business cards that I thought were "Free-Pay Shipping ONLY" OMG!!!!!   I just opened my bank statement and I had not ONE charge for $14.95 from Vista Print, but ANOTHER charge for $14.95 from Shopping Essentials, (from which I've NEVER done business), but have learned that THEY are a "Part" of Vista Print or affiliated with: These Business cards are NOT "FREE". I was ok paying $6.95 shipping, but WHAT are these monthly charges I am getting NOW? I was never told of any membership or monthly "fees", or extra costs being added later.. they just get your bank info, and start vacuuming money out of your account, and pass this info on to other "affilliated" companies, so they too can get your money. DO NOT DO Business with these people, they are a SCAM!!! I thought I was getting a "good deal" on the cards, so I told several friends, co-workers and family about "how to get cheap business cards" (prior to learning it is a scam) but now they will ALL be e-mailed not to buy anything from them as well. So that is "potential" business that they have lost on their stupidity. So much for "thinking" you are getting a good deal, only to find out later, it is all BS. I'm furious right now, but wait til I call thier customer service first thing in the AM. No refund, I will be calling the BBB as well. It is just SO wrong (illegal?)to do this to people, linking you up to other "services" without your consent, and charging money for something you didn't order.

There was a charge on my credit card for 14.95 from Shopping Essentials.  After I called the number, they admitted that they received my credit card information from Vista Print.

I called Vista Print at 1-800-961-2075 and they apologized and said that I had signed up for this service.  I do not remember clicking anything but the gauntlet of extras you have to go through to reach your check-out cart is ridiculous and filled with all sorts of extras.

At the very least, their business practices are dubious and I think a good lawyer should be able to put together a class action suit against Vista Print.

I found a similar charge on this month's credit card bill; after checking old credit card bills I found I was being charged for the past 7 months for something I never consented to.  Upon contacting the company they informed me that they can cancel my account but will not refund the charges from the past 6 months.  I am livid.  They said I clicked on something that automatically enrolled me. I cancelled the account and cancelled the credit card.  The credit card also said they can do nothing about the past charges.  Now I'm leery to purchase ANYTHING online with a credit card...and I'll also be checking statements more closely.

I forgot to add this part...When I first brought up the charges, Nigel(he is with AP9*PASSPORTTOFUN+-V)
said that I signed up for something just by clicking on an ad.  I told him that was ridiculous.  He had my information, but I told him that i signed up on Vista Print to get free cards, but never signed up for any monthly membership.  He said that Vista Print is a client of theirs, so when I brought up their affiliation with Vista and what could happen during the lawsuit, they dropped the charges.  Seems to me like they are both crooked companies, and I can't see myself doing business with Vista Print any longer.

I called 800-566-8489 and spoke with a guy named Nigel #6443.  I told him about all the unhappy people and brought up lawsuits.  He asked me to hold, came back and said to check my account in a couple of days, all charges had been refunded.  I'll check in a couple of days to see if it were true, otherwise I'll be calling back.

I had the same issue ... $14.95 on my credit card ... once for Shopping Essentials and one for some other bogus charge.  Unbelievable really.  I called and they said they would cancel my membership ... even though I never signed up for any membership.  If you see these kinds of charges, call ASAP.

I had just found out that 14.95 was taken out of my checking and I have not even used my card. Now a year ago I ordered something from vista prints but I never joined nothing. I called the bank right away and canceled my card and trying to get my money back.

In all fairness, I called VistaPrint's customer service number, explained the situation, and a few days later the charges to my credit card were reversed. It was unpleasant and frightening to have to think about the work that might be involved in taking care of this, and I am left to wonder if they will charge again, and I did warn about 30 of my friends about this, which may have dimmed their enthusiasm for vistaprint. But for now, it seems like things are taken care of.

I also received two billings on my credit card statement. One was from the 1-800-961-2075 number, another was from 877-581-0181. Both charges were for $14.95. I had placed two vista print "free card" orders and did my very best to NOT sign up for these programs - but apparently I failed somehow. Anyway, I called Vista Print and talked to a service rep named Brian. Brian contacted the companies and told me as of today (7/29/08) that they will refund the charges. We'll see what happens!

ME TOO!  for $17.95.  I placed a Christmas card order with vistaprint over two years ago.  A year ago when I noticed they were taking monthly fees from me, they said I'd created an account.  NO!  I opted for the free demo cards w/o a subscription.  Now again, two years later, they're swindling money.  STAY AWAY FROM VISTAPRINT.
