Report the calls to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  If they keep calling you, tell them that on your attorney's advice (even if you don't have one) you're recording the calls they make to you for use in your own lawsuit against them for multiple violations of the FDCPA.

Debt Collector
Chanel Parker called me from (559) 254-2109 from Parlier, CA. Her extension 500. She stated she did not know who filed a claim against me but that she was asked to serve me. She gave me this number 1-877-585-0956. I called and the automated system said they were Consolidated. She initially called my cousin, then my mom, then me. I tried calling her back because the extension she gave me did not work but she did not answer. She's since left me a voicemail stating I need to verify my address so she can serve me with court papers to appear in court. I told my cousin and mom that if she calls them again to tell her to serve me.

Sounds like BS to me.  Process servers do NOT call ahead of time to make sure you are available.  They just show up.  Report the calls to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  If you did indeed have a debt with Credit One Bank, then you would have already received dunning letters and then a statement saying they were sending the account to collections.  NEVER pay anyone if they refuse to MAIL (not email or fax) a debt validation letter proving you owe a debt and that they are licensed in your state to collect said debt.  When they call again, let them know that you are recording all calls they make to you on the advice of your attorney, for use in a lawsuit against them for multiple violations of the FDCPA.

Debt Collector
Several calls - they have started calling my job - now have resorted to calling the main number front desk receptionist telling her someone will be coming there tomorrow.

So I call the number after she gives me the claim number I am supposed to call about.

It is supposedly a company called Consolidated from California.  They are debt collectors for Credit One Bank.

It only gets worse.  I have a private cell phone number - next it rings.  Someone 413-728-5200 calls me and says he is a locator for the company blah blah blah about the documents to drop off.

He again gives me the information.  I said how did you get my number?  He said i'm paid very well to do my job.

He calls me again an hour later - at this point I reverse search his number which is a lenox, mass landline.

It is unlisted so no information is available about it.  He says he will have to drop off the documents at my job tomorrow since it's late and it will take him an hour to get here.

I work remote so I will be sure to call front desk security to be sure nobody gets by.
