Today at work we received a "Certified Mail" bogus legal document from the County of Los Angeles entitled "Notice of Default and Election to Sell Under Deed of Trust.  The four page document looks very real, other than it is a copy and not an original.  The only contact information is Ocwen Loan Servicing, c/o Western Progressive LLC 2002 Summit Blvd, Suite 600 Atlanta GA 30319...Beneficiary Phone: 877-596-8580.  I Googled the number and ended up here.  So now this terrible company Ocwen has a new mail scam.  Be Warned!

It is because their call centers are in India, and most of them don't speak very good English.  I can't wait to get rid of them when I refinance.  Trying to get through to someone that actually understands me is very problematic.

I keep getting automated calls from them.  I used to get them from the 877-596-8580, I then blocked that number on my cell account and then they started calling from a number that didn't come up on caller ID.  
I finally got through to a person with an Indian accent who said that I needed to prove that I was not the person by giving my SS#.  This is ridiculous.

Ive had to file for loan modification twice now, each time they say I havn't completed my paper work and my loan is not going to be modified,. I ve found a non profit Atty that sue's Ocwen for this kinda of horse pucky.

I do have a mortage with Ocwen and I keep receiving these calls. At first there was a person on the other end, but they would not tell what the call was about, they wanted my acount number and I will not give anyone who calls me that number. Now they leave a message for me to call back, I called Ocwen with the number on the statement and they said that they do not know why anyone is calling me, is this a scam of some kind?

The only problem with waiting is that your credit report may have, or is being affected.

Keep getting calls from 877-596-8580, several times a day,and even late night calls. I've also received calls on the weekends, particularly Sundays late evening and even on Easter.

Not only do you have to wait on hold for 30min I've been on hold for an hour! And still never talked to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!  This company is a trip!!  Horrible customer service!!

I told them I do not have an account
with them nor do I want to do any kind of

and if they called again I was going to file phone hassrement
charges on them

Calls from this # (877-596-8580) are a harassment. They're computer-generated and require waiting on the phone for up to 30 minutes with no success.

it is computer generated and it disconnects from me every day 3x's a day while i am trying to do work

This call from 877-596-8580 is generated daily and something shoul dbe done by the FCC to prevent harassment like this

this is a number for OCWEN in florida and overseas.   takes 1/2 hour or more to get through to a person who eventually cannot handle your concersns

this guys call me everyday and disconnect. I already spoke with them once, and tell them that the person they are looking for is not in my number: I don't know that person!!  and they keep calling

"reasonable people" huh?  This is why they have umpteen class action suits against them right now. Try a google search and read the complains ya brainless asshat!

they have their own page - that's crazy with all the crap they put people through. if they can use f.b. to catch thiefs and child predators, can we somehow use it to stop this co. from ruining people's days repeatedly??

i called using *69 to that number from my prepaid phone, so it didn't cost me so much. i gave my number agin to someone who sounded foreign, perhaps indian, who said they'd stop calling this number. we have never had an account with them. i asked for his name, sounded like mishwash, and he spelled his last name as rao, because i said if i get another call i'm calling back and asking specifically for him. thi smakes me so mad!

So I'm not the only one being called by thi sphantom company. No voice, not even an annoying machine, and no means to stop them. It's harrassment.

I unfortantly have them as a mortgage company also.  I told them they had to stop calling and take my number out of there system because it causes domestic violance.  It doesn't but it was the only thing that would make them stop.  I HATE THEM !!  I didn't sign with them my mortgage was sold to them before even my first payment was due.

I, unfortunately do have a mortgage with them, and Ocwen is perhaps one of the most disfunctional and dishonest businesses I have ever encountered.  The idiots cannot even leave a message right.  Each time they call and leave a message it starts halfway through the return phone number they are asking us to reply to - no name, no introduction or reason for calling - just part of a number and not the one left on caller ID.  I have been ignoring the calls for over a month now and I finally realized it was our "good freinds" at Ocwen by searching on the 877 number above.  Stay far away from this bunch of Yo-Yo's!
