I have filed bankruptcy and my attorney tells me it is illegal for creditors to continue to harass once the papers have been filed, and yet I am still getting calls from this number and others.  If it is at all possible to sue, I would be very interested in doing so.  I plan never to shop at JC Penney again.

Got a call 2-20-10 @ 8:26am, 10:56am & 2-21-10 @ 5:34pm, 8:41pm & 2-22-10 @ 2:49pm, 4:34pm....

Yes you're right,  it is a debt collector calling for JC Penney.

877 597 1385 AND 877 597 1386 have called me everyday for the past week 20 times a day. i dont owe anyone any money. i dont have credit cards. its always a missed call when i see and when i call back it gets connected but no one says anything. how do i stop these calls??

Who is this company when I answer the phone it is just dead air I get calls all day long from this number and when I have called back they put me on hold for so long that it makes me just hang up I don't have time for this crap.

Got a call from this phone number.

They call every hour and 1/2 hour starting at at 8 in the morning and not ending until 9 or 10 at night. No one answers and the message left always sounds like someone standing in front of a fan.

CALL ALL DAY LONG AND DO'T SAY ANYTHING. THEY WO'T EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE OR ANSWER WHEN YOU CALL BACK. THEY EVEN HARASS ON THE WEEKENDS!

they call more at least 12 times a day on my cell phone. No one is there when I answer or attempt to call the number.

THEY HARRASS ME ALL DAY LONG CALLING WHEN I ANSWER THERE IS NO ONE THERE.

When called back at this 877-597-1386, they answer:

"Thank you for calling ACT, may I have your phone number please?"

ACT is Advanced CallCenter Technologies or something of the sort.
