I received a call from this number 867-604-5269 and they claimed to be BMO Insurance,they wanted me to buy a policy with them and promised to send me the policy package despite my refusal,the lady I spoke to last gave me another number to call if I wanted to make it clear that I don't want their policy and that number is: 1 800 587 4817. When I called this number the lady who answered to my call first claimed to know what I was talking about but later told me that they don't have any information regarding my concerns and that they can only know about that on Monday(today it's Wednesday). Can somebody tell me if it truly is BMO?

Got a call this morning from this number, claiming to be calling about my windows operating system.  When I asked the name of the company, he hung up.

I've been getting call after call from them (obviously w/o leaving a voicemail), answering, and since they take so frickin' long to actually say hello, I just end up hanging up. Has anyone had any luck with asking them to stop phoning you?

I called the number back and got a message welcoming me to BMO Direct Banking.

So now we know who it is. But I'm still not going to answer any of their telemarketing calls.  :-)

ya it's BMO.....I don't owe them ANY money on anything thru them....so safe to say it's def. NOT about a "collection matter" with them at least! Probably a promo or something normal......

It's BMO telemarketing as others have said.  If you call them back at the same number you can ask them to put a note on your account to not call you for marketing purposes again.  The DNC list is fine (although there are so many loops in it that it isn't half as effective as we would like to believe) but if you already do business with someone they can call you, and it's perfectly legal. I'm sure that all the banks are doing this.

Please quit calling this number its annoying!!

I wonder if numerous companies use a service that calls on their behalf since when I googled one of these numbers people were reporting several different companies contacting them from this same number. But any 877 number is guarenteed to be some type of telemarketer.

I called the number back and, as anoter post says, they're calling for customer satisfaction feedback and junk like that for BMO Bank of Montreal.

Problem is, their automated dialer system SUCKS and I've answered a handful of calls already in the past few months from this number, EACH TIME getting nothing but dead air after repeatedly answeing "HELLO" and other greetings to trigger the auto system to transfer me to a live agent.  So far, absolutely NONE of my answered calls have actually been passed to a live person and instead have ended with the autodialer system hanging up on me.

To BMO, if you ever read this, you need to understand that I WAS perfectly satisfied with my services with you.  HOWEVER, after these continuous nuisance calls from your faulty system, I am fed up.  Goodbye.

I received a call from this number. No message, automated message. I have a cell phone for business only. I am certain this is a telemarketing ploy, since I do not have an account with BMO. I would like to hear from anyone , how do you stop the repetitious harassing phone calls? I have heard that even retirees are receiving repetitive phone calls from this number. You answer the phone, there is no live voice, just the clone automated telemarketing  message. No one needs to rush to answer a telemarketing automated message. This is harassment.

I did a call today from the number up above. I was not at home so I called them back. I also called the direct banking line for BMO and asked they about the number. It is BMO all the are doing is see if you are happy with them.
