Welcome to 2014. I received a cold call today - on Saturday of course - telling me that Enbridge (my natural gas supplier) was replacing all old water heaters for free. Lucky me, they were in my neighbourhood and could come by in a couple of days. When I expressed my doubt about who I was talking to, "Michael" mentioned Enbridge several more times, and offered to quote my account number as proof of his connection to Enbridge. I then asked for a contact number to confirm what he was offering for free, and he gave me the 877-673-5373 number. I guess I won't bother phoning on Monday.
do not sign up with these people. its more a less a sham. every year your rates will increase.
if you ever choose to leave them they charge you like 2000 in fees
I got at least 12 calls from the person at this number over the past three weeks. The company is called CBB Services, but apparently they had the wrong number. The confusion was that the person who they were looking for and myself have very similar names; same first name and same initial for the last name. The account number they gave me was off, though.
She seems to be some poor lady just doing a crappy job. She also took my number off the list and said I won't be receiving calls anymore. (Hope so...) I didn't give them my real name. Oh, I live in Ontario. Didn't ask what the account was about, either, assuming it's some collection agency.
this number called me i want to know who is it?
My wife just called now , somebody from natural wants to change our water heater for free is that true?
I live in scarborough ontario! they said my bills wont change same as the billing for enbridge and direct energy!
I got this number from a flyer on the doorknob. I live in Ontario.
"National Home Services" offers free gas water heaters.
I googled the company name - seems they do not exist.
I googled the phone number - it belongs to Universal Gas & Electric in Michigan, which has many complaints against it, relating to predatory natural gas contracts.
