Lady called asking for ___??? that was born in 1990, said that she has a civil complant and needs his statment . She said to call the number that showed up on the caller ID. STRANGE

I also got a all from this number said his name was Anthony Adams and I owed 112 for a pay day loan and now with interest I owed  1000.   We'll I have never in my life had a pay day loan.  Also he stated he was from MCI Firm.  He did not say CCS. I just told him since he had my personal information he could mail documentation to me.  He then hung up

This company called my husbands place of employment today & was left the message by his receptionist. This company told the receptionist that this call was about me & that he was to return this call by 1pm. The name of the collector is Harold. My husband came home as soon as he received this message thinking that there was something wrong with me. These ppl are terrible. My poor husband. I am disabled due to a auto accident 2 yrs ago & I am being refused disability & HAROLD thinks it is ok to contact my husband through his job to get some sort of payment that is my responsibility. I just want to know if this is even a legal tactic in the state of Michigan. If you know, please give me the information through this page. Thx

You are so wrong! You are never allowed to harass anyone for any reason! There are ways to deal with companies and people like you.

I've worked with several bill collectors in my many years. Those that show respect get my respect in return. Those bills get paid.

I'm a software engineer and I have programmed my own phone system to my rules. After 2 disrespectful phone calls I enter their caller id in my unlimited block list and I never hear from them again. Because of their disrespect they NEVER get paid. One company in particular has been waiting over 20 years! And if they have no caller id my phone never even rings.

I was thinking I should automatically forward calls with no caller id to a dial-a-joke number.

Someone named Mike Mareno called the people who live in the house I USED to live in.  Told her it was a personal matter.  Whatever.

Received a call from the above number and the person identified themselves as Norma.  I ran my credit report and I am victim of identity theft and a fraud alert has been placed on my file.  Unable to inform Norma because she/they communicate on a one-sided basis, they harrass and we run.  I hope she reviews credit reports before she decides who is a "bum".

I got the same call and they left me a vm claiming it is CCS who are they and what do they want?

got a call and finally answered from this number claimed to be ccs they tried to verify my social my middle name and then asked if i had an old repossed comaero?

Received a call from from a person going by the name of Dominic Martin...He stated that he wished to speak with someone in the family and was requesting that we provide this phone number information to them for a return call...

A Jawann Campbell keeps calling my job from this number wanting personal information from me.  Who is this and is this legitimate business?

Got a call from this number asking for my boss.  Girl named Jenna refused to give me any other information other than she was calling from CCS in the Bostom area and it was "personal" business.

Had my mom's name,unlisted number and her address and asked about her neighbor whose name and address she knew said her name was Elizabeth.

I get messages form them all the time.....don't answer, don't call back. Since I am on SSI and a Gov't Disability Pension, I really don't care. I tried to work something out with them in the past. Finally told them to sue me. My income cannot be garnished and they can't invade my bank accounts since I have no other income...........They really should have worked it out with me.

Haha its a legit company if u don't pay your bill for whatever the bill gets turned to them and they are allowed to harrass u untill you pay up. If u don't pay your considered a theif for whatever u bought so why would someone treat you nicely after many many warnings givin before the claim is even brought to collections. Ccs isn't an enemy.. people who mooch and don't pay anyone back are.

Have been getting calls from 877-720-0996 that sound sort of like a debt collection agency but after reading other's story's about this source, I delete the messages.

Also, forgot to add this note......"no number" showed up on my phone.....when this persona "Norma" called leaving me her ph # 877-720-0996, x 7728 with reference to some file #.....

so I will not call anyone who blocks or hides their phone number.....assume it is a collection agency.....

I got a call this morn today March 5th, 2010 and this women said her name was Norma....(SHE DID NOT SAY WHO OR WHERE - WHAT COMPANY SHE WAS CALLING FROM !!)) to call her back at ph#877-720-0996, at her ext # 7728 with reference to some file # @#$%^&...whatever that ment.

After loading up ph #877-720-0996......I found this web info....so wanted to include for the record, that I also got a call from this UNKNOWN company-person....and am very suspecious, especially when they-whoever....does not even say their company name or where-who they are !!

Michelle Altongy called me at work from this number, 1-8777-720-0996 Ext. 7881.  She said she wanted to speak to Sharon and that Sharon gave her permission to call her at her work place. I told her that this company does not allow us to receive personal phone calls at work.  She stated that she found it odd that I couldn't since I had previously given her permission to do so.  I believe this person works for Credit Collection Services.

my daughter called me at work at 6:30am stating that a lady named Elizabeth at did not say co name phone# 8777200996 ext 7880 she didn't say much else except that if did we have an attorney because she supposedly called but we don't have any messages from her, that she had a problem with me and we.  my daughter was really afraid since she sounded rude and threatening.  called this number and belongs to a frankie?? go figure, god knows who she is. they need to stop harrassing people and scarring children!!!

Very rude people! They keep calling about someone that I have never heard of. They have my number along with someone elses address. They have called nearly ten times.

we got a message from Elizabeth at CCS phone# 8777200996 ext 7880 she didn't say much else except that they supposedly called but we don't have any messages from a company called CCS, you might want to call and find out what they are referring to

it wasnt even me that received the call it was my 90 year old grandfather who she disclosed details to and also said she would call them everyday to look for me about a student loan i am disputing and has been in dispute since it was with the original lender. i am in the same line of business she is.  I feel very bad for ms. newton i will not rest until she is fired or sued.
