Got the same message as all the others. Saying it was the last "courtesy call." And saying they have a program to consolidate credit card debt at a rate of 1.5 interest. Warning this is a SCAM. I looked the number up after getting the call and seen all the previous posts about these crooks. Thanks for all the previous warnings too!!!

I got the same call the other day.  So i called them back, i spoke with a nice lady who asked if I was paying higher than 12% interest rates.  At first I knew they called the wrong number because I did not speak to anyone the week prior.  I asked if they would be able to maybe help me out because I have 3 credit cards that are over 12% interest rates and very high balance.  So she transferred me to a credit specialist.  They gave me a free savings quote.  I asked for their BBB number and they gave me the number and I looked them up.  They are a true company to my surprise.  So I called the lady back and I said I was interested. So i was set up with their non-profit credit card agency that is helping me. I have not had any charges taken out that are over what they said they would take.  SO FAR I'M SO HAPPY THEY GOT THE WRONG NUMBER BECAUSE I REALLY NEEDED THE HELP!

Same experience. Got a call, claimed we spoke last week, we never did. She played a schpiel on me, I asked a few questions, "where are you? what is the name of your organization." etc. she would not tell me, I asked her to hold on for a moment, got a telephone recording device and recorded the rest of the conversation in which she asked me a series of questions about my debt, bills, income, etc, I made up answers, gave her credit card numbers that had to correct starting numbers (each bank has a unique set of numbers at the beginning of the card), made up the others, carried on and one, she was quite good at pretending not to know specific things and asking her "supervisor" Jamie for clarification, the end game seemed to be to get my credit card numbers and bank account number (again, I gave her fake ones, along with a fake social security number), a packet of information is supposed to arrive in the mail soon, if it does (I doubt it will), I will use that and the recording of the call to report them to the state attorney general's office. Remember, if you report illegal activities to the Attorney General's office, they HAVE to investigate legally. You can call the police and they will do nothing. The best part is: Eamon de Valera, the first president of the newly created Irish Free State in 1921 - should have said my name was Benjamin Franklin! Not sure why I wasted my time with these people, but if they can be stopped it may prevent others from being robbed. These people are shameless, parasites stealing from those least able to bear the losses they will incur. I hope I can put them in jail.

just received the same call, didn't answer, but they left a message. message was half cut off, but i think it was the same Terri Green as for the rest. number came up as 989-891-9405 (from MI). the woman said that she had this great opportunity especially for me since i pay only the minimum balance on my credit card. that's not even true, i mostly pay my balance in full, so this likely is a scam. she gave me the toll-free number to call back. beware of predatory lending! if you are in debt, this can be extremely dangerous to you!

Rec'd the same message everyone above has rec'd.  I have a new cell number so very few people have it.  I was asked to call the 877 number back.  Call id on my cell showed the call came from number 989-891-9405.  Very similar to numbers listed in other complaints.  My husband and I don't even have a credit card.  What a joke.

I got the exact same message as you did. They called my cell which no one but family and friends know, and the # was 989 754 6505. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize it but the voicemail left was that they could reduce my credit, this was the last attempt, funny since it was also the first, and then left the 877 723-1429 number.

I received a call from "unknown caller" on my cell phone number.

The caller identified as either a Kerri or Terri Green and talked like we had spoken last week which we clearly did not.  She said to call her back at 877 723 1429.

This is a disrespectful and dishonest company - beware.

Has to be a scam.  Also a call from Kari Green offering to lower my credit card interest rates.  I don't have any credit cards.  No name of a company was left; who would make a business call and not indentify the company name.  I didn't call back

Forgot to say. The call was from 989-981-9403. 3 last digits are different from the one a few messages above. Caller ID may be fake one to track who reports calls.

Got this message yesterday on my voice mail. Exactly like was posted earlier. http://www.mediafire.com/?hsy8d5b2lnwf76h It looks like it is prerecorded.

We have never spoken before. I have credit cards and always pay my balance in full. This is a form of predatory lending at minimum, likely scam..

Discover does not know this number.

Same recorded message to call 877-723-1429 regarding reducing debt with rates as low as 1.5%. Call came from Hubbardston, MI 989-981-9703. http://www.reversenum.com/trace-results.html?phone=989-981-9403

They get more clever everyday... this time is a soft spoken woman leaving a message that says that she spoke to me last week about reducing my interest rates, very informal tone, possibly reducing my payments in half.

Just got a call today (Nov. 17). Number that called was 989-686-4601. My phone said it was from Bay City, MI. I didn't answer it. They left a voicemail. The voicemail simply said to call th3 877 number. It was a woman's voice. I heard nothing else but the phone number and that they'd be available until 10 pm.

I got a voicemail from these people on my office number! It is a direct private line that only my clients have. I have never used it on a credit application. The recording said "interest rates cut in half" and it would be her "last courtsey call"...Total scam!

received the call today. When I listened to the message key words led me to believe this was a scam. Terri or Kerri Greene, who did not identify herself as a representative of any company, left the message that they have a "Program" that could lower my interest rate to "as low as" 1.5% and that since I was only making my minimum monthly that this would be a good plan for me. I do not make the min monthly payments ever.  Now the thing is I just call Discover yesterday to ask them about lower my interest rate and now this today.  Think that is who is giving/selling numbers!  Wow I may have to call them and ask them about this!

This is a new one apparently!  I just got this call as well from Carrie Green saying the same thing that Deb wrote earlier.  I called back and they wanted to get my financials, but of course, I didn't give it to them.  I wonder how long this will keep going...

This was on my cell as well, and I do give out the number, but only for my business clients.  This company obviously got a hold of a cell phone number list.

Wow I just got this phone call 20 minutes ago. A voice mail of a young upbeat girl talking about cutting my interest rate to 1.5% and my monthly payment in half. She said this would be a good option since i'm only making the minimum payment. I had no idea what she was talking about, thankfully I found this.

Same deal here, scam I don't have any credit cards with a balance, we never spoke last week and I can't make minimum payments if I don't owe any money.  Why would anyone trust a company that starts out by lying and saying we spoke last week.  She sounds so nice and upbeat.

Why do people do junk like this.
