The young girl entered our home & when we left the room to obtain a checkbook, she cleaned out the nearby wallet.  She took $80. in cash, 2 debit cards & family pictures.  The payment on the check has since been
cancelled as are the debit cards.  It's pathetic that people have no conscience.

The problems you people have encountered need to be adressed on a person by person basis. I have worked with HPC for 2 years + and the magazines are always delivered to the approprieate places on the reciept when they are turned in. If a agent does something to alter a order, it is infact the agent doing so and is only a matter of time before they are caught and terminated from the company. To place blame on a company places a bad name on the many hard-working salesman like myself. The individual who is at your door is a independent contractor, they file their own taxes, and in a sense work for themselves. HP Consulting clears the orders of many of these agents. When one of them does something unethical it unfortunatly ends up reflecting us all. We are not "trained tro con people"... I was trained, now, I do the training. I do not train people to lie or scam customers, only on how to keep positive attitudes and confidence in their speal. Nobody ever go's on the internet to tell everybody how happy they are that they DID get their subsciption and help out a youth with goals they are attempting to achieve, but alls it takes is one bad apple which is the old saying. Thats my 2 cents

These people are a organized scamming crew. Teach kids how to lie and steal people's money, most of them are felons , and are addicted to strong drugs and don't care whom they are ripping off. The owners name is kealy landes and you can google his past and see if these are the kind of people running these company ask your self if you want them running threw your community and knocking on your door.......the food for thought. You would think enough bad stuff has happened the government would stop the rap and pillaging on there community's and people. HP consulting hires the kids that are addicts and homeless, make them feel wanted and special, that enables them to be keep on hook only paying them 20-50 a day for 12 to 16 hours of work, they say independent contractors , but then why do people get beat up for not selling or missing meeting. They take any where from1500-10k a day from community's all over the USA and there is only us as people that can stop this disgusting industry. The owners cell phone is 720-272-5555 give him a call and let him know your feelings on this.

Don't call the 877-727-5821 number. It's a car dealership and they have been getting so many of these phone calls. They can't help us either. I got in touch with the customer service to MD Network Inc.  They can't help you until it has been 120 days of your receipt. That number is 888-494-1472

These folks scammed my daughter on her college campus.  Grabbed her and said they needed to do a quick interview for a marketing class, next thing she knew she had been signed up for a magazine and in her confusion she gave him cash. Felt stupid afterwards, but it was too late. Tough lesson.  Really wish there was a way to find and prosecute these scammers.  I tried to call the phone number, but of course it was not a working number.  The 303 area code number someone posted here is obviously also a scam, as when you call that they just have a machine that wants you to leave your information so they can call you back. Sell your information, is more like it.

Good morning - This happened to me on Saturday, January 7th - and to make a long story short - I stopped payment today and am sending a notice of cancellation - and the only reason that I am going to send the cancellation so that I can have a clear conscious that I performed pursuant to Business & Professions Code.  You did not have to pay extra fees for sending the notice of cancellation because just as long as the envelope was post-marked by the third business day - it is good, but it wouldn't matter here because they could care less about the notice of cancellations - all they want is our MONEY.  This Company seems to think they can make their own laws and say the notice was never received or it was beyond the cancellation period - but everything comes to an end - and these trailer trash individuals are going to get theirs sooner than later!!

7/28/2010 - Young adult salesman for HP Consulting, Inc., MD Network, Inc. and "Youth Communication Award" rang doorbell and began a fast talking sales pitch about a "tax deductible donation to charity by purchasing a magazine subscription". The sales pitch was full of lies contradicting the fine print on the company's purchase receipt, was deceptive, designed to mislead consumers and constituted fraud.
The salesperson, with a group traveling nationwide, stated that the extremely over priced magazine subscriptions are completely tax deductible donations to charity and mentioned the country of Haiti and active duty U.S. troops as examples, this is completely untrue as HP Consulting, Inc. states that they are strictly a for profit company in the fine print of their purchase receipt. They have no connection to any charitable organization, yet their young salespeople are trained to mention a variety known charities and in the art of fast talking chatter designed to distract a victim/customer from reading the contradicting fine print.
He stated that if I paid by check, the check would be held for six to seven weeks, this contradicts the receipt fine print that states that checks will be deposited immediately, he urged me to pay in cash. The salesman said that a purchase would help him to earn a scholarship for college, I believe this to be a misrepresentation. He tried to get me to make out the magazine subscription in the name of a household pet and list it on the receipt as a gift, I refused to do so. He attempted to get me to purchase a subscription that would be a "charitable donation to active duty U.S. Military personnel", I believe that given the company's track record of customers never seeing the magazines ordered as described in other complaints, that the subscription would never have reached the "troops".
I paid $63.00 for a 12 issue magazine subscription, the salesman showed me company literature showing half of that money, minus the $15.00 process/handling fee would be donated to a "charity", not specifically named. I believe that claim to be a company backed fraud and deception. Many others describe on the internet being "ripped off" by this company, that continues to change it's D.B.A. name often as reports of fraud and erroneous credit card charges are reported nationwide. Overpriced magazine subscriptions never delivered or only partial deliveries made, a recurring complaint.
The company's policy for canceling an order in writing within three days makes it seemingly impossible to get a refund. The companies doing business from their P.O. box address are named in complaints nationwide for fraudulent, deceptive activity as well as the exploitation of teenagers and young adults used to prey on the unsuspecting customer and evoke sympathy. After seeing numerous other complaints posted online, I paid an expensive bank fee to stop payment on my check, priority postage to rush my cancellation and took other actions, to warn others.

It is a legitimate business. I have ordered from them before. The number on the receipt 877-727-5821 has changed to 303-674-8252. There is an 888-888-9025 also. I talked to Donna and she was very pleasant.
Please keep in mind that you have only 3 days to send a post maked letter stating you wish to cancel.
When ordering make sure the sales person puts the correct date. This was not a phone call. It was a door to door sales person.

Try 1-877-727-5821, I wasn't getting my magazine from Frontline Communications. I talked to someone who was really nice and they had been sending me a different title than I requested. I told them I didn't like it and they are now going to give me another title.
