This is really bizarre.
We have a business phone number that gets transferred to a cell we have 24/7. For the last 3 days people have been calling this number 877-742-9488 but THAT number is being forwarded to our number... they are calling for Verizon. So we are in contact with Verizon and they are saying that this number does not belong to Verizon. They are attempting to get in contact with Verizon about some sort of training program. Verizon is confused because they ARE having a training but that number is not related to their emails that have been sent out. Long story short, it is probably a scam. When I Google this number a ton of things come up and there is a PDF related to wire transfers and Charles Schwab. I hate to know that some poor fools are trying to wire transfer money to a scam "bank".
Needless to say I have no idea what's going on but what a pain in the a**.
