They called yesterday morning, after repeated hello's on my part they said nothing, then hung up. They called back at 3 p.m. After many hello's, a guy finally asked for 'Lynn'. I informed him he had the wrong number. He hung up. No apology, no nothing, just hung up. They called at 10 this morning. Numerous hello's on my part, nothing. No response. They hung up. They called at 3 again. After numerous hello's and me just waiting on the phone for almost two minutes a woman finally asked for 'Lynn'. I told her that my answer was the same as it was yesterday when you asked for Lynn -- you have the wrong number. She asked me if I knew any Lynn's. I told her no. I asked her to stop calling me. She said hold on now, do you know a Lynn Parrot. I told her if I already told you that no I did not know Lynn, then clearly, no, I do not obviously know Lynn Parrot either. I asked her to identify herself because I felt she was harrassing me. She said she could give me her name, but I had to tell her mine. I said I would give her no information as I did not know who she was, or what company she was calling from, if any. She got quite ignorant and said she was not harrassing me, and did not have to give me any information. I asked her at that point to remove my number from her calling list or I would report her. She said if I did not give her my name she would NOT remove my number and was yelling at me at that point. I told her that was it, I was reporting her. She hung up. I did call the number back, and yes someone did answer. The woman did tell me that they were a collection call centre for Virgin Mobile, Rogers Mobile, and another telephone provider. She said that a Lynn Parrot obviously left my number as a number for them to reach her at. I asked her to remove my number. She said it would be done, but I have been told by others that it probably won't happen, so this is going to be a wait and see. No, I do not have an account with Virgin or Rogers, and no, I am not behind on my bill. I find it funny how this company would call and say nothing and then be harrassing/ignorant though. That is very unprofessional, and I can't see anyone being very co-operative with them, say even if they were telemarketers trying to sell something. Identify yourself and the nature of your call immediately, not to mention SAY SOMETHING!

if it is Virgin wtf are they calling me for, i don't have a cell and never have had a cell with virgin mobile so this crap has nothing to do with your cell bill.

Ive got the same call 7 times today-just called virgin and the guy had no idea what or who it was calling. I don't owe any money on my account except for my bill that just came out 5 days ago-which I haven't received... So irritating

They call me about a dozen times a day and ask me for my password saying they're virgin. The lady is very hard to understand, I told her to stop calling me and they keep calling.

This is indeed Virgin Mobile, telling you that you didn't pay your bill. In my case, I was one month late, because I didn't receive any notification by text messaging that my bill was due last month (NO, I don't have enough discipline to go check on my own on their website every month, almost everytime I check their site is down ANYWAY.
The man I spoke to was very rude, he had very poor french (my language), and won't stop harrassing me until I tell him when I will pay my bill...even though I told him many times during the conversation that I was at work and that I didn't want to be disturbed like that when they're not even responsible enough to send bills every month like every competent company. He asked me if I wanted to be transfered to the customer service department, but I answered that their service is always mediocre anyway and that it won't change anything to the fact I never receive any notifications as planned.
He was so annoying (and could barely understand my answers since he didn't speak french OR english very well), that I had to hang up while he was still "trying" to speak to me (well...ask me for the fifth time the same question...). I was so angry with this terrible harassment...so I just paid my bill and switched to another company (NOT owned by Bell) and since then, I never had any cellphone issues again...
So basically, if you wanna stop having problems with this phone number, just give up on Virgin...Yeah, their plans are attractive because of their low prices, but the service is so horrible that it's not even worth it.

It's not virgin mobile, I called them they said it wasn't them. they don't call you when your bill is due, virgin sends a text message. do not give these people any info about you. they are driving me nuts to. i got a block caller app. and that seems to help

This number is not Virgin Mobile, it is a scam. They called and asked my 4 number passcode related to Virgin, but I'm no more with them. She talked to me in a very poor french (I'm french speaking), she was incoherent and whispered to other people in the back.
Remember that you do not have to give any kind of personal information to somebody calling you, even if it is a representative from a company. Because they cannot prove they are who they claim to be, banks and companies never call you at home and ask for passwords. If it happens, just tell them that you will call back the company from a certified number.

You're an idiot. The companys are bound by law not to release our numbers. Telemarketers have tools now to automatically generate active phone numbers; they don't need to be provided with them.

This number calls everyday a few times, I even answer and they hang up right away. I call it back, it says connected and there is nothing not even ringing. Really getting annoyed with this.

Supposedly Virgin Mobile, but when i called cust srv via 611 on my mobile they said that number 877-745-7727 was not in use by Virgin Mobile, so who knows?

I'm with virgin mobility too and they have been calling me.... they have made lots of mistakes on my bills as well. your not the only one. I agree they have very rude customer service and crappy technology.

If it's Virgin they shouldn't be calling me several times a day because I already paid my bill. I'm extremely ill with the flu and it's really annoying when you are trying to sleep. I just woke up and am going to call them so they stop harassing me. I'm guessing there is something wrong with their technology. Ever since I switched to Virgin I have had nothing but mistakes on my bill and rude customer service.

This number is Virgin Accounts Collections they are just trying to confirm account payments 1-877-745-7727 is Virgin accounts . Not a scam not telemarketing just your phone provider trying to get in touch with you. But the customer service is terrible and the agents are kind of rude . Typical :)

I have got a call ever hour on the hour since like 8am this morning. It's annoying. I checked my account balance and its $26.85. So if it IS Virgin Mobile...it's a little early for them to be harrassing me, dontcha think? I have been trying to get some rest before work and because I use my phone as an alarm, it's kinda hard to sleep though the ringing every hour.

Pretty sure that this is Virgin Mobile... but they've called 3 times in an hour... I pick up and then get a message stating that someone will be right with me. They do not identify themselves and just make you wait on hold. I never was connected to anyone. Whether this is really Virgin Mobile or not, I'm not sure.. But if it IS, they should be telling you WHO IS CALLING and not just have you sit there and wait to talk to someone, not knowing who it is. I'll let it go to voicemail next and see what happens.
