I also started getting these calls less than a week after registering a domain with Network Solutions.  Since my business line is a cell phone, these calls can be disturbing.  Over the past two days, I had missed two calls per day from them.  Tonight, I tried to return the call (not yet knowing who was calling), and got a recorded sales pitch from "Web.com", the parent company of Network Solutions.

Rather than deal with the hassle of hoping they'll remove me from their list, I've simply placed the number on the automatic rejection list that can be programmed into the Samsung Galaxy S3.  I found step-by-step instructions at the following website:  http://www.twelveskip.com/tutorials/android/5 ... msung-galaxy-s3

Thanks to this great online service (whocallsme), I now know that the pesky caller that did not leave a message was Network Solutions. I added the number under the previously saved name, Blocked Caller. This name, as indicated, is always set up as a blocked caller on my cell. It goes straight to voice-mail without disturbing me further. I must have about 30 different numbers saved under this name. Problem solved!

Get a Googler Voice number, free, and give that out. You can block spammers, use cell only for family.

Network Solutions used to call me from a different number at least once a day. Last night and once this morning they called from this number. I just set a personalized ring tone for this number: silent.

I am confident that this is Network Solutions harassing individuals that registered a domain name. I created a separate phone account that I used when registering my domain. The harassment started with calls (50+) received from 855-881-9252. Now they are coming from 877-749-0204.

They want to sell additional services. DO THEY THINK THAT WE WILL DO ADDITIONAL BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT ENGAGES IN TELE-HARASSMENT?

I called them (877-749-0204)and just spoke to Adam too!  Do you think they all use the same name? :) He said it was an automated service that sometimes takes a second to kick-in after it hears a human voice.  I told him that I answered , said "hello" twice and waited for the calling party to hang-up. the call was disconnected after about 30 seconds.  He gave me the pitch. I listened then asked if I could have my number removed from the list. We'll see.....

This is Network Solutions.  They harrass daily.  I just called back and spoke to someone named Adam and threatened to not renew a single product with them and he said he's taking me off the call list.

I talked to the Network Solutions rep that answered that number and requested to be removed from the outbound call list. He said it would take 48-72 hours. We'll see if it works.

He said their policy is they can call a number twice a day, which I told him is a ridiculous frequency and will p****off countless customers.

According to the rep I talked to, it is an in-house telemarketing group at Network Solutions that is selling web development services. Their policy is that their auto-dialer can ring a number two times a day.  I told them that frequency is ridiculous, even in the pesky world of telemarketing. They said they'd take my number off the call list.  We'll see.

Seems like Network Solutions was paid by another company for numbers. Get 3 calls a day from this number, claims they are not Network Solutions the one time I could get an answer from the caller. They call back even after I registered on the DNC.

I registered with NS a few months ago and within days after, I was getting repeated calls from these people either early in the morning (9-10 AM) or in the afternoon. I picked up about half the time and only once was there someone on the other end, I had to go but they said they were from Network Solutions. the calls have started again today despite me registering on the federal DNC site.

I pay per minute for my phone so I don't answer their calls.  However, they have taken to using different numbers and it is getting really annoying.  Wish I could make it stop.  And yes, I did register a domain with them also.  Think I'll cancel the domain - not worth the hassle.

I too received several calls with this phone number and tracked back to Network Solutions, "eworks" product department. After I finally got a person on the line, I let him give me the whole pitch which is for website design up to 5 pages, and focused primary on marketing at a $94.95 monthly rate. The pitch was good, and the product sounded sound. I then call Networks solutions and asked to talk about this with a general description, and I was transferred to the same individual, whose pitch was the same. After I heard my key phrases I wrote down to verify in fact it would be the same person (ie. Nova Scotia where this office is) I stopped him and let him know the deal. He understood, and much is the computer calling system they have that may call empty headsets. Anyhow I did verify it is Network Solutions, and it is their internal call center. Yes I too had a Cell phone and was surprised how they got that. But sales needs to be persistent. Hope this helps. But as I will always say, "Trust, but verify!"

I also registered a domain with network Solutions, but I also purchased the privacy option, which prevents someone from going to whois and getting my contact info.  Despite this, I still receive frequent calls where no one of the other line says anything.

I have an AT&T cell phone and pay $5 for a monthly service that allows me to block numbers.  877-749-0204 is going on that list!

I finally answered the call after weeks of ignoring it.  It was Network Solutions calling to sell me additional products because I registered a domain name with them recently.

Another thoroughly annoyed Network Solutions user. Great business plan: pi$$ off all your customers so they'll never want to do business with you again, and will tell everyone they know to also avoid you.  And they pay some MBA to think this stuff up!!!

Same here-someone is calling my phone over and over. I did recently register with Network Solutions as well.   But I just saw that people had that theory here.  Not sure what triggered it.

the smart assed people at Network Solutions are the ones robo-calling to sell you their $9/year privacy package.  if you give your phone number when you register, you can never change/hide it without paying.

Just got a call too, registered with NS a couple of weeks ago.  I never gave them my cell number so how did they get it?

Has anyone talked to the people that called from this 877 # ? I didn't pick it up, wonder what they are asking for on the other end.

If this is not NS as they claim, then they should tighten up access to their information because someone is using it to try and scam money out of NS customers.  Also, a scammer might be using NS info about new customers and by access whosis.
